As a basic subject,Chinese has always played an important role in school teaching.Teaching material is the main carrier for teachers to transfer knowledge and for students to learn knowledge.The realization of the function of Chinese education depends on the compilation and use of high-quality Chinese teaching materials.So it is very important to choose what kind of articles to compile into Chinese textbooks.The selection of teaching materials is an important basis for cultivating students' Chinese ability and improving their Chinese literacy.It embodies the basic requirements of the concept of Chinese curriculum,the purpose and angle of editors' choosing.The Chinese nation has a long history and splendid culture for more than five thousand years.The value charm of ancient works is shining in our art treasure house.Selecting and compiling ancient works into Chinese compulsory teaching materials is the most important channel to inherit the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation.In this paper,the author makes full use of the methods such as the literature research,the comparative study and the case-proof method Making full use of various documents and materials,combining with the background of the times and cultural background,this paper makes a detailed study of the ancient works in the two editions of the compulsory textbooks for senior high school Chinese.This paper further reveals the status of ancient works in the teaching materials of high school.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter mainly from the author or source of the selected articles,dynasties,genres of these three aspects,the author and the Sujiao version of ancient works selected articles were statistically analyzed,clearly showing the two editions of the basic situation of the ancient works of selected works.The second chapter makes a comparative study on the quantity and proportion of selected articles of ancient works,the subject matter and genre,and the arrangement mode in the compulsory teaching materials of senior high school Chinese between the people's edition and the Sujiao version.The section of quantity and proportion is divided into three aspects: the content,the distribution of the dynasty and the sex of the author.Through the comparative study,the differences and similarities between the two textbooks in the selection of ancient works are found,and the causes of these similarities and differences are analyzed in order to find out the appropriateness and inappropriateness of the two textbooks.On the basis of the first two chapters,The third chapter makes a comprehensive evaluation of the selection of ancient works in the compulsory teaching materials of Chinese for senior high school and puts forward some suggestions for the compilation and selection of the new Chinese textbooks for senior high schools,which are worthy of reference and need to be improved.
