A Comparative Study On The Selection Of Ancient Poems And Essays In Junior Middle Schools Between The Ministry Edition And The People's Education Edition

Ancient poetry,as a treasure of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation,has always been the "highlight" of Chinese teaching materials.It not only contains profound cultural connotations,but also has a very important meaning for cultivating students' aesthetic ability,cultivating students' moral sentiment,and guiding students to establish a correct outlook on life.Compared with the PEP version,the Ministry-Edited Junior High School Chinese Textbook pays more attention to the inheritance of traditional culture and the formation of Chinese literacy.It has made major adjustments in terms of the selected ancient poems and essays,quantity and arrangement.The comparative study on the compilation of ancient poems and essays between the Ministry edition and the People's Education Edition is feasible and has certain reference value for the compilation and selection of ancient Chinese textbooks in the future.This article makes a comprehensive comparison of the compilation basis,essay selection system,reading aid system and practice system of the two editions of textbooks.We found that the textbooks compiled by the Ministry reasonably controlled the quantity and difficulty of selected ancient poems and essays,and reduced the pressure of "teaching" and "learning";the types and connotations of the selected ancient poems were more abundant,emphasizing the inheritance of the excellent traditional Chinese culture;The reading system of the Chinese Academy of Sciences emphasizes the teaching of ancient poetry reading methods;perfecting the unit composition of "two-line elements",emphasizing the comprehensiveness of Chinese subjects;improving the reading aid system,rebuilding the knowledge system,and focusing on the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability;ancient poetry The layout focuses on the development of students' cognitive ability,and the layout is more beautiful.At the same time,there are still some areas for improvement in the compilation and selection of ancient poems.Based on this,we put forward corresponding suggestions for the compilation of ancient Chinese poems and essays in junior high school and the teaching of ancient poems and essays in junior high school.
