With the development of science and technology and the change of people's way of life,all kinds of information flood into people's lives,and our society has gradually entered the "reading screen era".In the face of such trend,as the impact of the national economy and people's livelihood education career also should follow the time development trend,our country also timely to the elementary education curriculum reform,the curriculum reform to cultivate discipline core quality as the goal,at the same time promote the applications of a variety of curriculum resources to classroom teaching,including the use of documentary for teaching is effective and popular.The use of historical documentaries in history teaching can give full play to its direct and vivid characteristics,which is not only conducive to the study and mastery of basic historical knowledge,but also conducive to the cultivation of the core literacy of the subject.Under the guidance of Marx's materialism,the documentary "World History" clarifies the basic clues of the development of world history and describes the main contents of the development of world history.Moreover,it shows the latest research results at home and abroad,which provides us with the latest information to explore the mysteries of the development of world history.at the same time,the documentary attaches importance to the discussion of the development of "world civilization".This documentary is of great value both as a popular film and as a material for professional learning.This paper is divided into four parts: first of all,the main contents and typical characteristics of the documentary "World History" are briefly introduced,and the teaching value of the documentary itself is analyzed.Secondly,it analyzes the importance and feasibility of the documentary applied to the history teaching of senior high school under the new curriculum standard.Thirdly,it selects specific cases to study the application design of "World History" documentary in history curriculum.Finally,some reasonable suggestions are put forward for the application of the documentary "World History" in the history teaching of senior high school.There are many advantages in introducing documentaries into the history classroom of senior high school.However,we should pay attention to the combination of other teaching methods in the process of application,and at the same time use a variety of methods to achieve the effect of overall optimization.More clearly,no matter what kind of teaching methods and ways,it is necessary to serve the formation of the core literacy of the subject.
