With the continuous renewal of multimedia teaching methods,the traditional history teaching methods can not meet the students' increasingly rich horizons.The appearance of historical images fills this gap and becomes an important means for history teachers to assist teaching.With the continuous promotion of the new curriculum reform,the use of historical image as a teaching material and teaching means in the history classroom occupies a higher proportion,and teachers' views on historical images have changed from dispensable to widely used.As a kind of historical image,historical documentary image has unique function which can not be compared with other image resources.The research on image teaching in China is rich,but the research and application of historical documentary image is only the initial stage.Many history teachers do not understand the concept and connotation of documentary images clearly,which is an important reason why they can not play their essential role.Through the questionnaire survey,it can be further proved that the role of documentary images is not only reflected in the surface to attract students' interest,but also in the value of core literacy.These deep functions are the historical teachers really need to master and use.Documentary image has extensive application space in junior high school history teaching.The rational use of documentary images in junior high school history teaching can not only improve the teaching effect,but also further enrich the theory of history teaching and promote the diversified development of teaching methods.China's modern history has unique conditions in this respect.Although the historical documentary image has a unique effect in auxiliary teaching,it must be clearly defined as the accurate orientation of the auxiliary teaching means when selecting and using the historical documentary image data,especially that it can not be used as a direct substitute for classroom teaching.In order to avoid the situation of putting the cart before the horse,we must pay attention to the principles of subjectivity,pertinence and moderation in practice.On this basis,the combination of various teaching methods can not only promote the improvement of teaching skills of junior high school history teachers,but also change the students' learning methods,and then improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.Make the history documentary image play the most important role.
