Primary and senior students are in the crucial period of forming and establishing self-cognition and self-adaptation related to academic activities.Students in this period begin to pay attention to their academic performance and have certain achievement goal orientation. At the same time, the senior stage of primary school is also a special budding period when students' self-consciousness gradually rises and psychological conflicts gradually intensify. Therefore, students at this stage are also eager to get teachers' support,so as to promote their learning process.Up to now, most previous studies have focused on the relationship between students' mental health and academic performance, without considering the relationship between mental health and other related variables.Under the influence of the continuous advancement of quality education, this study, based on the actual needs, discusses the relationship among the relevant variables such as elementary school students' mental health, perceived teacher support, achievement goal orientation and academic performance. This study mainly focuses on the influencing factors of the academic performance of senior primary school students. After the standardized testing of senior students, the mid-term examination results of the students in the first municipal level were obtained, and the results were standardized according to the class.Starting from the three aspects of students' achievement goal orientation, students' perception of teacher support and students' mental health, this paper analyzes their academic performance and explores whether there is a correlation between the four factors and whether there is a mediating effect.Through literature research and questionnaire survey,a total of 400 questionnaires were distributed to senior primary school students, and 373 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 93.25%.Descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were adopted for the data results, and the following conclusions were obtained:(1)pupils' perception of teacher support and achievement goal orientation were at a relatively good level, and students' mental health was good;(2)pupils' perceived teacher support, achievement goal orientation and mental health had significant differences in demographic variables;(3)there was a significant correlation between pupils' mental health, perceived teacher support and achievement goal orientation and their academic performance.(4)pupils' perceived teacher support and achievement goal orientation was significantly correlated with their academic performance;(5)there was a chain mediating effect test between students' perceived teacher support and achievement goal orientation and mental health and academic performance.
