Interpersonal conflict is a common social interaction behavior in interpersonal communication.Middle school is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood.Teenagers in this period have special psychological and physiological characteristics.Therefore,interpersonal conflict intervention among middle school students is an important part of social workers in the process of school social work.The main content of this study is to analyze the common interpersonal conflict problems of middle school students and discuss how to use the method of group work to effectively intervene these problems.Research is based on the author worked as an intern in Z middle school in Wuhan city as a social work experience,the full text of the research on middle school students,focuses on their conflicts in the process of peer exchanges,through draw lessons from the rational emotional therapy model framework,using the method of group work,describe the practical cases according to the facts and show in process,and through the methods such as observation method,interview method and questionnaire method for evaluation.The main conclusions of this study are as follows: Firstly,it is necessary and applicable for school social workers to intervene in interpersonal conflict of middle school students.Secondly,the methods and techniques of rational emotion therapy can guide social workers to intervene interpersonal conflict in middle school students.Thirdly,when intervening in interpersonal conflict problems of middle school students,the service mode that combines problem solving with ability improvement can reflect the professionalism of social work.
