Developing the core literacy of Chinese students is the central content of carrying out the Party’s educational policy in an all-round way,and the starting point and end point of deepening the reform of basic education curriculum in the new era.As an important part of curriculum reform,school-based curriculum and textbook development has become a new highlight of school education and teaching reform,and has attracted more and more attention from schools and front-line teachers.By reviewing the development process of school-based textbooks at home and abroad,focusing on the long-term development of schools and the development requirements of students’ core discipline literacy,this study tries to develop school-based textbooks of Quality Chemistry and apply them to teaching practice in order to solve some practical problems existing in the teaching practice of high school chemistry textbooks,combining with local cultural resources.Specific research contents include the following five aspects: first,an overview of the status quo,relevant theories and connotations of school-based textbooks development at home and abroad;second,through the investigation and analysis of the learning status of the students in Baoshan Longyang No.1 Middle School,the goal and direction of school-based textbooks development are determined;third,the value orientation,principles,specific processes of school-based textbooks development and the implementation of textbooks are elaborated;Fourthly,it evaluates and analyses the quality of school-based textbook development from four aspects: evaluation group opinions,teachers’ interviews,students’ questionnaires and students’ achievements to provide reference for revision of textbooks;Finally,it reflects on the problems existing in the process of development and implementation of school-based textbooks and puts forward the direction of follow-up research.The results of practical research show that the development of school-based quality textbooks is of great positive significance in promoting the reform of classroom teaching,optimizing the textbook system and teaching content,improving teachers’ professional ability and developing students’ core quality of disciplines,and promoting the deepening development of quality education.
