Research On The Cultivation Of Democratic Consciousness Of The College Students

Since the 18 th national congress of the CPC,the state has actively advocated and practiced socialist core values,and "democracy" is the value goal at the national level.As the future and hope of the country,college students should actively respond to the call of the party and the country,personally practice the core socialist values.However,the current cultivation of college students' democratic consciousness is not in place.Focusing on the theme of "cultivating democratic consciousness of college students" and the key words of "college students" and "cultivation",this paper employs the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and system analysis to carry out research.The thesis consists of five parts.The first chapter is introduction.This part elaborates the research background,significance and purpose of this thesis,and systematically analyzes and summarizes the research status of this topic at home and abroad,then establish a scientific and feasible research method.The second chapter mainly discusses the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of the cultivation of democratic consciousness of the college students.The connotation of democratic consciousness and the characteristics of cultivating democratic consciousness of college students is discussed in detail.This part explains the socialist democratic values with Chinese characteristics,the central committee of the communist party guidance and the classic discussion of domestic and foreign scholars on the cultivation of democratic consciousness,and also discusses the necessity of cultivating college students' democratic consciousness.Based on 534 valid questionnaires filled out by freshmen and seniors of different majors in various universities across the country,the third part analyzes the current democratic consciousness of college students,the current situation of cultivating and the problems in the cultivating process,and then discusses the causes of the problems in cultivating.The fourth chapter makes the clear goal of cultivating college students' democratic consciousness from four angles,including the democratic knowledge level,democratic participation consciousness,democratic practical ability,democratic ideal and faith.The fifth chapter,focusing on "college students" and "cultivation",puts forward the effective ways to cultivate college students' democratic consciousness from the perspectives of universities,teachers and students.The systematic study contributes to the cultivation of college students' democratic consciousness and the realization of real democracy in the country and society.
