With the economic development and social transformation, women's social status has gradually improved in our country, but at the same time they are facing many new situations and new problems. The factors such as family members, relationship among members, family structure and scale, family economic situation and social status are intertwined to form a microcosm of society. The gender distribution pattern of family power is an important embodiment of women's family status and social status. At present, family structure is miniaturized and there are more and more nuclear fanilies. This study chooses to put women in the family power relationship between husband and wife, aiming to understand the relative position of women.Resource theory, cultural norm theory, social exchange theory.patriarchal theory, relative love and need theory are the main theoretical perspectives of foreign family power research.Chinese scholars have enriched the quantitative and qualitative research of women's family power inspired by the above theory. The study focuses on the women's absolute resources, the relative resource advantages in the family and the impact of gender cultural norms on women's family power.Based on the literature review and practical considerations, this paper combines the basics of relevant research, starting from the perspective of family social work, using the data of the third wave survey on the social status of women in China to understand the condition of women's family power in our country, including women's real power in the family, the decision-making power of the six family affairs and the decision-making power of personal affairs.Based on the ordinal logistic regression analysis method, the regression model is constructed from the two levels of family system and social structure, the impact of the personal traits of family members, family traits and interaction in the family system and household registration and regional factors in the social structure are analyzed and discussed. The results show that women's family power in China is in a near-medium position, and the distribution of gender power in the family also tends to the equality model, the decision-making power of family daily affairs and women,s personal affairs is higher, but the real power and the decision-making power of five major family affairs are far lower than those of men.Women's family power is influenced by both the family system and the social structure, and to some extent verifies the interpretation framework of the resources theory and cultural norms theory. The more equal the gender role awareness of family members in the family system, the greater the relative resource advantage, the better of the economic exchanges with the in-law family and communication between husband and wife, the larger the women's family power;but the number of children and the family structure have a significant negative impact on women's family power:about macro social structural factors, influenced by the economic development pattern, modernization level and local gender cultural norms there are also significant differences in women's family power between urban and rural areas. In the city and the Beijing-Tianjin-Shanghai region, women have relatively large family power.Women in rural and western regions have less family power, and women's family power is smaller in the eastern region than the central region. In the end,the regression results are summarized and discussed. It can be seen that the women's family power in China is increasing, but there are also many problems. There is still a long way to go to the power equality inside and outside the family. On the basis of relevant discussion, this paper attempts to propose the empowerment advice of the women,s powerless condition in the family from the family and society in combination with the empowerment theory of social work.
