Plane analytic geometry plays an important role in high school mathematics.Symmetry of plane analytic geometry is also the focus of college entrance examination.Symmetry embodies the formal beauty of mathematics.It can make students develop their interest in mathematics learning in the process of feeling the beauty of mathematics,deepen their understanding of mathematics,and improve their mathematical thinking ability and application ability.However,in the actual teaching,it is found that most teachers pay more attention to the mechanical memory of knowledge points and training of question types,and lack of aesthetic education on symmetry,while students seldom pay attention to the mathematical beauty reflected by this feature.At the same time,it is very difficult for most students to learn this content.It is difficult for them to grasp the essence of the symmetry problem,to establish a complete knowledge structure,and to understand and transform the symmetry problem.In the face of the above situation,this paper will understand the current teaching situation of plane analytic geometry symmetry by consulting relevant literature,issuing questionnaires and interviewing teachers and students,analyze the existing problems in the process of teachers' teaching and students' learning,and design a reasonable teaching plan and put forward relevant Suggestions according to the conclusion.Through the data analysis of the questionnaire survey,the main research conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)students have a very simple understanding of plane analytic geometric symmetry,and lack the understanding of symmetry ideas and methods.(2)both teachers and students seldom pay attention to the symmetry beauty of plane analytic geometry.(3)students fail to establish a complete knowledge structure for the symmetry problem of the linear equation,and have great difficulties in solving the axisymmetric problem.(4)students have a low level of understanding and application of conic symmetry,and have a weak ability to transform from curve symmetry to point symmetry.Aiming at the problems found in the research,this paper designs a teaching plan and puts forward relevant teaching Suggestions,which mainly include the following points :(1)strengthen students' aesthetic education of plane analytic geometry symmetry,and guide students to understand the importance of symmetry thought and method in mathematics learning.(2)strengthen students' understanding of the content of plane analytic geometry symmetry,so that students can establish a clear knowledge structure.(3)improve students' independent problem-solving skills and abilities.
