Hebei Province implemented the new high school curriculum standards from the autumn 2009. Under the curriculum standards, mathematics textbooks in high school have changed a lot. Plane Analytic Geometry, as an important part of the Analytic Geometry, plays an essencial role in math textbook, which trains students in combination ability and thinking ability. So in which aspects has the textbook in Plane Analytic Geometry changed? This article will compare the differences between A version and the 2004 version of PEP materials,. Based on the comparative study, we conducted a questionnaire survey of mathematics teachers in Grade 2. And based on the questionnaire survey, we did a survey among part of Grade 2 math teachers and students of six schools in Shijiazhuang city through interviews and questionnaires, aiming to better understand the use of curriculum materials of Plane Analytic Geometry after curriculum reform. The main Research methods used in this study are comparative study, questionnaire and interview survey.The article falls into five parts. The first part gives a brief introduction of the new mathematics curriculum for high school and analysis of the importance of teaching high school mathematics in the Plane Analytic Geometry in the position, and finally describes the significance of this research and the research process; the second part introduced the related research in recent years from three aspects:the comparative study with high school mathematics standards of international, the comparative study of high school mathematics textbooks, the study of Plane Analytic Geometry of high school mathematics;The third part is comparision between A version and the 2004 version of PEP materials, mainly on layout, class teaching arrangements, course content, Columns, teaching materials difficulty and exercises. The fourth part is the questionnaires and interviews to teachers and students in six middle schools in Shijiazhuang and the Middle School attached to Hebei Teachers'University. The fifth part is the summarize of the research results and problems found during the study.This study concluded that:the teaching material plane analytic geometry reduced the burden of teachers and students, which focus on the students'ability to explore and thinking ability, the integration between the information technology and mathematics courses, and the application value and cultural values of mathematics. Finally, the paper lists the problems found in the study:The teachers can not grasp the depth of teaching; Students don't often use the column in the textbooks; pros and cons of the spiral teaching arrangement and the teaching arrangements in the spatial cartesian coordinate.we hope this study can help mathematics teachers in high schools better understand the new curriculum ideas, and that it can provide a meaningful reference for writers to improve the teaching materials.
