Research On Social Network Service And The Change Of Interpersonal Communication

With the rapid development of social network service,the way of interpersonal communication has undergone great changes.Compared with the traditional interpersonal communication,social network service service makes the interaction between people more frequent,flexible and diversified with its unique cross time and space and convenience.As the most popular social network service,WeChat has a significant impact on people's interpersonal communication undoubtedly,so this article take WeChat as the object of study,to discuss the influence of social network services on interpersonal interaction,under the perspective of social network theory.This article interviewed 15 young people,include students and those who have a job,talking about chatting in the WeChat and the interpersonal interaction in the Friends-Circle.The interview found that the network of interpersonal relationship in the WeChat will strengthen the real social network and,in some cases,weaken the real social network.;WeChat brings the expansion of weak ties as well as more social capital for people;WeChat becomes a new way of life,but also brings bored and lonely.Interpersonal interaction in WeChat and in reality promote each other mutually,but in some cases,interpersonal interaction in WeChat would also alienate real relationships When people use WeChat to interact with their close friends,this interaction process and real interaction is mutual promotion.Interaction in WeChat can share people's life at any time,you will know more information about your friends,in addition,real interaction between yours will be more frequent;at the same time,offline interaction is beneficial to the direct communication,which in turn promotes WeChat interaction Moreover,When there is interaction on WeChat,people have more control over the interaction,and the interaction is more flexible.On the other hand.WeChat interaction is likely to cause interpersonal imbalance and the neglect of real interactions,which will lead to alienation of interpersonal relationships.WeChat increases the number of our "friends",expands the range of weak ties.For the student groups,the social capital that the weak ties brings is mainly reflect on the job information and experience.For the working group,the acquisition of social capital is mainly show in the closer relationship between colleagues and the the acquisition of customers.In addition,the social capital gains from WeChat have shown some difference on a certain degree.Social capital is relatively easy to obtain when people's hierarchy or social status are equal,the resources are more consistent and people who have some potential relevance.When the resources of bothsides are unequal,the social capital gains is relatively difficult.In WeChat,people use instant chat to contact with friends,skim through Friends-Circle to know the life of friends,release information on Friends-Circle to keep in touch with their friends,the network that people interact with friends has changed,WeChat has become a new way of life,a new way of interpersonal communication.However,in this new way of life,it reflects the boredom of real life.Skim through Friends-Circle itself is the choice of boredom;What's more,people will choose not to skim through because of the boredom of their Friends-Circle;Moreover,the colorful life in Friends-Circle is also the reason why people feel bored in real life.Futhermore,when we are eager to interact with friends in the Wechat or want to prove the sense of presence of ourselves,when we feel the distance in WeChat interaction and the uncertainty which online interactive brings,WeChat let us become more lonely.
