| Since the implementation of the new curriculum of basic education,the cultivation of the mathematical language expression ability of junior high school students has attracted the attention of many mathematics experts and teachers.Junior high school students are in the critical period of the development of mathematical language expression ability.Good mathematical language expression ability is of great significance for enhancing the motivation and efficiency of junior high school students' mathematical learning and promoting the formation of mathematical self-confidence in junior high school students'.This study aims to investigate the current situation of the mathematical language expression ability of junior middle school students in minority areas,analyze the influencing factors of the mathematical language expression ability of junior middle school students in minority areas,explore the strategies to cultivate the mathematical language expression ability of junior middle school students and provide reference for junior high school mathematics teaching in minority areas.On the basis of combing the relevant literature,using questionnaire survey method,test method and interview method,from four dimensions of mathematics text language power of expression,mathematics symbolic language power of expression and mathematics graphics language power of expression to study two schools of akesu of the present situation of mathematics language competence in junior middle school students,mainly to reach following conclusions:(1)The junior middle school students in minority areas are still at the second level on the whole;(2)The junior middle school students in minority areas have reached the first level in the expressive ability of mathematical literal language,and there is no difference in the expressive ability of mathematical literal language in the grade.But in nationality,there are very significant differences existed in many Uyghur and Han students in Grade 7 as well as Uyghur and Han students in grade 8;(3)Junior high school students in ethnic areas have reached the second level in the language expression ability of mathematical symbols,and there is no difference in the grade of expression ability of mathematical symbols,as well as thereare also very significant differences between Uyghur and Han students in the eighth grade of ethnic groups;(4)Junior high school students in ethnic areas have been reached the second level in the language expression ability of mathematical graphics.But there are significant differences in the expressive ability of mathematical graphics language between grades 7 and 8 as well as existed between grades 8 and 9.Ethnically,there are still very significant differences among the eighth grade Uyghur and Han students as well as existed in the ninth grade Uyghur and Han students.(5)The factors affecting the expression ability of mathematics language among junior middle school students in ethnic areas,which are including students' understanding ability,transformation ability,learning habits,teachers' teaching and the use of national common language.Based on the analysis of the present situation,along with the influencing factors of junior high school students' mathematical language expressive ability,the author puts forward several strategies,in order to improve junior high school students' mathematical language expressive ability in minority areas through research:(1)Students' basic knowledge needs to be consolidated and their connotations expressed through understanding language;(2)Teachers' professional accomplishment needs to be improved in order to create professional language environment;(3)Improving the reading comprehension ability,so as to standardize the way of language expression;(4)Paying more attention to the language transformation ability of mathematics,in order to strengthen the logic of language expression;(5)Actively cultivate students' learning habits,with the aim of accumulating a large number of language expression experience. |
