Mathematics is a subject that studies the concepts of quantity,structure,change,space and information,and mathematical language can express the thinking process of students.It is the carrier of mathematical thinking and plays a pivotal role in the process of students' mathematical learning.The abstract logical thinking of junior high school students gradually occupies the dominant position,and the formal logical thinking and dialectical logical thinking develop rapidly.Mathematical language is a medium and tool for teachers and students to communicate mathematical knowledge,and the written expression ability of mathematical language is a way to reflect students' thinking,which is an essential part of mathematics education.In order to understand the level and existing problems of students' mathematical language written expression ability in Chengguan District of Lhasa City,this paper mainly elaborates from the following parts:The first part is the introduction,mainly discusses the research background,research purpose and research significance of this research.The second part is literature review and theoretical basis.Firstly,it gives a brief overview of "mathematical language" and "mathematical language expression ability",and briefly discusses the research status of "mathematical language written expression ability".Finally,the theoretical basis of this study is introduced: Anderson's three-stage theory of language,Gagne's theory of information processing and Gardner's theory of multiple intelligence.The third part is the research design and implementation.This study to Lhasa chengguan 2 grade four high school students as the research object,first design test to the Lhasa chengguan middle mathematics language written expression ability of the status of the investigation,refer to the literature of "mathematical language power of expression" and refer to the test results,the design affect the ability of the students' mathematical language written expression influencing factors questionnaire,and interviews with four schools teachers,more detailed content in the process of learning.The fourth part is the survey results and data analysis.Through the test results,it is found that the written expression ability of Grade 2students in Chengguan District of Lhasa City is at the average level,and there are many typical mistakes,and there is no significant difference between male and female students.According to the questionnaire,there are three main factors that affect students' expression ability,namely students' non-intellectual factors,learning ability and teachers' influence.Finally,interview teachers to understand students' current situation and problems in a deeper level.The fifth part is the analysis of the problems and reasons existing in the written mathematical language expression ability of junior high school students,and puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies according to the problems and reasons.The existing problems are: the accuracy of students' answers is not high;Written expression can not be detailed slightly appropriate;The problem solving process is not rigorous enough.In view of the students' problems,the author analyzes the reasons from three aspects: the language background leads to a relatively weak mathematical foundation;Students own attitude is not correct,there is no good learning habits;The influence of teachers on students' written expression ability of mathematical language.The measures are: pay attention to students' basic knowledge education,help students understand the meaning of the topic;Creating a good environment for students to express themselves;Teachers should regulate their own and students' language expression;Emphasis should be placed on the mutual transformation of mathematical languages to cultivate students' logicality of language expression.The sixth part is the summary of this paper,the shortcomings and the future prospects.
