In basketball, the shooting rate often affects the outcome of the game. The research on the factors affecting the shooting rate shows that the psychological factor is one of the important factors besides the technical factor. In previous studies, the emotional impact on sports decision-making behavior such as the recognition,on the basketball shooting, more common is a descriptive research and empirical summary, lack of necessary experimental studies, especially emotional factors affecting shooting is rare, therefore, this research from the perspectives of mood, the 2×3 subjects in experimental design, the factor 1 is the emotional valence, divided into three levels:namely, positive, neutral, negative;Factor 2 was the time factor, which was tested three times at different times: early(8 o 'clock),medium(14 o 'clock)and late(20 o'clock). The purpose of this paper is to discuss the influence of negative emotion on the shooting rate of basketball, and to further trace and analyze the delay characteristics ofnegative emotion. In order to provide a theoretical basis for college basketball teaching and training, but also to provide some reference for the selection of basketball players.Through the methods of experiment, literature and mathematical statistics, this paper recruits 60 male college basketball majors, who are of the same age, have the same skill level, and are in good physical and mental health. They were randomly divided into 6 groups: control group(10),positive emotion group(10),neutral emotion group(10),negative emotion group 1(10),negative emotion group 2(10),and negativeemotion group 3(10).40 neutral mood pictures(titer: 5.11),30 positive mood pictures(titer: 7.08)and 90 negative mood pictures(titer: 2.54)were selected from the Chinese mood picture library system and the international mood picture library. The control group was not stimulated by any emotional images. The positive group and the neutral group received corresponding titer images at different times for 3s,and the negative group received negative images for 3s,10 s and 30 s respectively.Immediately after the stimulation, each group shot shots at 5 o 'clock in the indoor basketball half.Experimental results show that different emotional valence will have a certain impact on the shooting rate, compared with neutral and positive emotions, negativeemotions have a greater impact on the shooting rate. And the longer the duration of negative emotions, the greater the impact on the shooting rate, this effect is negative. It is concluded that emotion has an effect on the shooting rate of college basketball, and the more positive the emotional state is,the easier the shooting rate will be.On the contrary, the more negative the emotion is,the worse the shooting rate is;and the longer the negative emotion delay is and the longer the negative effect lasts, the worse the shooting rate is.
