STEAM education is a new force in line with the development of education in the 21 st century,It has its unique teaching advantages in educating people.In response to the curriculum reform of basic geography education in senior high school,make geography teaching keep pace with The Times,and cultivate students' interdisciplinary learning ability,it is necessary for us to introduce STEAM education into high school geography teaching.However,in actual teaching,there are few researches on how to combine STEAM education with high school geography teaching and some relevant researches lack specific operability.This paper combines the high school geography teaching content with the STEAM education,and strives to find a feasible and operable method for STEAM education in geography.This paper mainly uses literature method,content analysis method and case analysis method to explore how to apply STEAM education in high school geography teaching.By using literature method,this paper analyzes the feasibility of STEAM education in high school geography teaching from the correlation between geography teaching ideas and STEAM educational ideas,the correlation between geography subject characteristics and STEAM educational characteristics,and the correlation between core literacy of geography and STEAM literacy.At the same time,by reading literatures and referring to Amanda Roberts 's STE(A)M teaching design model,proposed the teaching steps of STEAM teaching in high school geography.explaining the teaching content and application method of each step.The content analysis method is applied to sort out the contents of STEAM education adapted to the ordinary high school experimental textbook "Geography 1","Geography 2" and "Geography 3",the combing method is first sorted according to its chapter,and then each chapter The study of a section or chapter of each chapter is a specific teaching content,the determination of the name of the STEAM learning topic and the contents of "S" science,"T" technology,"E" engineering,"A" art,"M" mathematics,etc.were envisioned,and the combing content was presented in the second section of the fourth chapter of the thesis in the form of Table 1,Table 2,and Table 3.Using the caseanalysis method,based on the STEAM teaching steps in the first section of the fourth chapter of the thesis,chose the two learning themes of "road driving speedboat,really cool" and "how to adjust the South-to-North Water Transfer" in the form of teaching cases.Incorporate each teaching step into the design and implementation process of the entire teaching,and write two teaching cases in the third section of the fourth Chapter.The fifth chapter of the thesis conducts a high school geography teaching reflection based on STEAM education.,analyzing and Thinking the adaptability of teaching content,the adaptability of teaching methods and the adaptability of teaching time.It aims to provide some reference for the first-level geography teachers to carry out specific STEAM education.
