An Empirical Study On The Effect Of Population Aging On The Differentiation Effect Of Productive And Living Service Industry In Gansu Province

In the process of economic development,China's population aging problem is also intensifying.Since entering the 21st century,China's elderly population has accounted for more than 7%,which indicates that China has entered an aging society.The arrival of an aging society will reduce the young labor force in society,which will have a negative impact on the development of traditional industries.For modern society,the development of the service industry is an important factor in measuring the degree of economic development of a country The "Government Work Report,also clearly points out that while fully promoting the development of the modern service industry,it must actively respond to the aging of the population,accelerate the deployment of the aging industry and improve the old-age security system Take a distinctive road of population aging with Chinese characteristics,which conforms to the objective trend of the aging society.Therefore,in the context of aging,it is particularly important to discuss the impact of population aging on the service industry and development.The aging of the population is the only way for a country to develop its economy to a certain stage.Gansu is loeated in the northwest of China,and its econonie development is particularly backward.Therefore,compared with developed areas such as Shanghai,the time for Gansu Province to enter an aging society is relatively late.The impact of population aging on the service industry has gradually emerged in recent years.Thus investigating the differentiation effect caused by aging population on the Gansu's productive and life service industry can effectively solve the current population aging problem and service industry development in this Province.The starting date of the data used in this paper is 2005,because Gansu Province entered the aging society in this year.It is based on the theory of population transformation,life cycle theory,Petty-Clark theorem and Lewis'theory of dual structure transformation This paper analyses the relationship between population aging,productive service industry and active service industry,and discusses the evolution process of population aging in Gansu Province and its various regions.At the same time,it analyzes the impact of population aging on the service industry in Gansu Province,and mainly elaborates the impact of aging on the differentiation effect of service industry and related policy formulation.Finally,this differentiation effect is discussed through e1pirical analysis,and according to the empirical results,the paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions on how to deal with the problem of population aging and how to promote the development of the productive and life service industries in Gansu Province.
