China's economy has shifted from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development. As China's economy gradually moves from "industrial economy" to "service economy",it is urgent to improve the quality of service economy and enhance the division of labor in global value chain of service industry. At the same time,in recent years, more and more productive service inputs are put into the service sector itself, which has a great impact on the division of labor in the global value chain of service industry. It is of profound theoretical and practical significance to explore the influence mechanism of producer service input on the division of labor in GVC.On the theoretical level, this paper expounds the evolution process of global value chain theory, discusses the influence mechanism of producer service input on the division of labor in global value chain of service industry from three approaches of technological innovation, financing capacity and human capital, and makes corresponding theoretical assumptions. Then,WIOD database was used to measure producer service input,GVC status index and GVC participation index of service sector and subsector in major countries.Through comparative analysis,it is found that the input of productive services in China shows a trend of increasing fluctuation, and the consumption of domestic intermediate products of productive services by each service sector is significantly higher than that of foreign intermediate products. The GVC status index and participation index of China's service industry are both lower than the average level of the selected countries, but the GVC status index of service industry shows a trend of rising volatility. On the empirical level, this paper examines the impact of producer service input on the division of labor in GVC.Results show that the productive service inputs about services division of global value chain status has significant positive role in promoting, and the effect has obvious heterogeneity, for knowledge intensive and capital intensive services division of global value chain status has significant positive role in promoting, and no significant on labor intensive services; At the same time, producer service input can improve the division of labor in GVC of service industry through technology innovation effect and financing capacity effect, while human capital effect inhibits the rise of division of labor in GVC of service industry.R&D investment and export intensity significantly promote the division of labor in GVC of service industry, while property right system, capital deepening and foreign direct investment can significantly restrain the rise of division of labor in GVC of service industry. Finally, based on the results of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, corresponding Suggestions are put forward :(1)to accelerate the development of producer services and increase the input of producer services.(2)adhere to the strategy of innovation-driven development and raise the level of R&D investment in the service sector.(3)we will improve the financial system and mechanism, and promote the development of the financial sector and the service sector.(4)accelerate the training of high-quality talents, improve the quality of human capital in the service industry(5)rationally introduce and utilize foreign investment, and improve the standards for foreign investment in the service industry.
