Knowledge of elements and compounds plays an important role in high school chemistry.The knowledge of elements and compounds is trivial and complex,and the related concepts are chaotic and unclear.Although the laws are universal,their particularity often hinders students' understanding.According to the characteristics of the elements of compound knowledge,help students construct knowledge system framework has been a lot of researchers and frontline teachers trying to break through,and a good way to put forward a lot of good for students to learn,such as concept map,mind map for the knowledge structure of hierarchical and network method,the mind mapping become effective tool.Mind mapping strategy is a tool proposed by Tony Buzan in the 1960 s,which is easy and convenient to visualize the thinking process,and it can promote the brain to think effectively and efficiently.In recent years,scholars at home and abroad have conducted a lot of teaching and research on mind mapping,and have made a lot of achievements in using mind mapping to help students complete knowledge construction,student cognitive development and other aspects.Based on the literature review of mind mapping and review of elements and compounds,this study first constructed the teaching system of senior chemistry review based on mind mapping under the guidance of constructivism theory,information processing theory and double coding theory.Secondly,the students in class(6)and(7)of grade 3 of E middle school in qin 'an county were selected as the research objects,and the elements and compounds were taken as the research content.The teaching practice based on mind mapping was carried out,and abundant teaching cases were formed through teaching practice.Finally,by comparing the results of the experimental class and the control class,comparing the test results before and after the experimental class,analyzing the results of the questionnaire survey of the experimental class and the interview records of some students,the practical effect of mind mapping in the review teaching of the properties of the three elements in high school was analyzed and evaluated.The main conclusions of this study are as follows: mind mapping can help students to build the relationship between knowledge,which is conducive to students' overall grasp of knowledge;Mind mapping can improve students' learning efficiency,cultivate students' independent learning awareness,change students' thinking habits,and contribute to the development of teacher-student relationship.In a word,this paper makes a preliminary discussion and research on the teaching of reviewing the properties of elements and compounds,and provides some references for the application of mind mapping in the teaching field.However,due to the limited level of researchers,research time and research objects,this study needs to be further improved and developed in the future.
