Research On The Efficiency Of Higher Education Resource Allocation In Eastern China

With the rapid development of higher education in China,the shortage of resources for higher education has become increasingly prominent.The contradiction between the development of higher education and the limited nature of educational resources has become increasingly apparent.The shortage of resources and the inefficient allocation have seriously affected the sustainable development of higher education in China.On the whole,the allocation of higher education resources in the eastern region is better than that in the central and western regions of China,but in the eastern part of China,whether the allocation efficiency of each province and city can reach a higher level,and whether the allocation is reasonable,It will affect the development of higher education in the whole eastern region,and then the sustainable development of higher education in the whole country.This paper takes the efficiency of higher education resource allocation in the eastern part of China as the main research line.Firstly,it explains the related concepts and theoretical basis of the allocation of resources in higher education,which lays a theoretical foundation for the construction of the evaluation index system for the efficiency of resource allocation in higher education.Secondly,it describes the statistical analysis of the status quo of higher education resource allocation in the eastern part of China.In the process of analysis,it is found that the allocation of higher education resources in different provinces and cities in eastern China has great differences.Therefore,under the background of the current shortage of higher education resources,it is very necessary to study the optimization of resource allocation efficiency in higher education and the impact factors of allocation efficiency.Thirdly,with the research of the universities directly under the Ministry of Education in the eastern part of China,an empirical study on the efficiency of higher education resource allocation in the eastern region from 2014 to 2016 was conducted.Through research,it has a clear understanding of the efficiency of higher education resource allocation in the eastern part of China,and lays a foundation for thesubsequent analysis of the impact factors of resource allocation efficiency.Then,using Tobit regression analysis to empirically study the influencing factors on resource allocation efficiency of higher education in eastern China,through empirical research,it is found that regional economic development level,development level of Science and Technology and higher education scale improve the efficiency of higher education resource allocation in eastern regions.Has a significant positive effect.Finally,based on the previous research results,the paper puts forward some policy recommendations to improve the efficiency of higher education resource allocation in the eastern region of China.Specifically,it is necessary to raise education funds through multiple channels,broaden the sources of funding,build a dynamic university financial competition mechanism,implementation of fund performance management,improve the resources sharing mechanism of higher education,boost the harmonious development of sectional higher education resources,moderately expand the scale of higher education,and optimize the higher level.Distribution of educational resources.
