Mathematics is a discipline integrating strong logicality,abstractness and logicality.It is a language with basic instrumental characteristics for learning other disciplines and mainly studies various quantitative relations and various spatial forms.Human daily life can not do without mathematics,the development of society is inseparable from mathematics.Mathematics is not only about arithmetic and reasoning,but also about communication.Reading is the most important way to obtain information.At the same time,in this process,people can learn more knowledge and expand their thinking ability.Therefore,improving their reading ability can greatly improve their learning efficiency.Similarly,the study of mathematics is also inseparable from reading.Mathematical reading ability improved,learning efficiency will naturally improve.In this changing era,information is changing and knowledge is being updated,so the role of reading is becoming more and more obvious.On the one hand,mathematics reading is one of the requirements of the latest curriculum standards.Teachers should guide students to do mathematics reading,cultivate their ability to obtain information,and improve their learning ability and thinking ability.On the other hand,when a student's math reading ability is improved,his self-study ability is also improved,which is of great help to students' lifelong learning and plays a positive role in promoting their future learning.Because of the logic and abstractness of mathematics,mathematics reading has its own uniqueness.It is not only the premise for students to learn mathematics,but also a great help for their reading ability,learning ability and logical thinking ability.In the actual classroom,consciously cultivate students' reading ability,not only conducive to students' learning,but also exercise students' self-learning ability,let students become more and more interested in mathematics,conducive to the overall development of students,in line with the current view of education,but also can reduce the pressure of teachers.I have read a lot of literature and done relevant surveys,found that the current situation of middle school students mathematics reading is not optimistic.There are many reasons,one is the teacher's attention is not high;Second,even if the teacher has the intention,but the actual operation is difficult,the teacher does not have the time and the energy to cultivate students' reading ability,and the teacher also does not have the concrete implementation strategy and the reading method;Third,there are many classes,homework and tutorial classes for students every day,and students do not have time and energy to read.Moreover,in order to get good grades and enter higher school,students spend every day in the exam.To sum up,the current reading situation of middle school students is not optimistic,and a variety of reasons hinder the development of middle school students' mathematical reading ability.This article is in the analysis of the current middle school students mathematics reading research situation,and carry on the analysis summary.Combined with the characteristics of middle school students and the characteristics of mathematics,and the particularity of mathematics reading,according to the current situation of middle school students to read,and their cause analysis,draw lessons from existing research,summarized the cultivation of students' ability in mathematics reading strategies and reading methods,to help students improve the ability of mathematics reading,more smoothly to study mathematics.
