The cultivation of innovative talents is a key issue of concern to the education community.In recent years,the rapid development of Maker Education has provided a new path for cultivating innovative talents.However,due to the lack of more systematic thinking methods and design concepts in the Maker activities,it is difficult to effectively improve the students' single form and lack of creativity.Students' creativity and the goal of achieving innovation.At present,design thinking,as a concept and method to effectively improve students' ability to innovate,has been favored by many scholars and is widely used in maker activities.This study takes design thinking as the concept and method,integrates design thinking into the maker's activities,and tries to construct a model of maker activity design based on design thinking.First of all,collate relevant literature on the design of maker education,design thinking and maker activities at home and abroad,analyze and summarize the achievements and problems and problems of the makers.By analyzing the mature design thinking model,the key factors are extracted,and then the close relationship between design thinking and maker activity is explored,and the feasibility of design thinking in the maker activity is summarized.Then,based on the mature design thinking model and based on the analysis,the key elements in the design thinking model and the design elements of the maker's activity are used to construct the design model of the maker's activity based on design thinking.The model is based on “student-led,teacher-coaching” and is divided into three parts: “inspiration,conception and iteration”.Conception is the most important part of the maker's activities.Students use visual thinking as the carrier and brainstorm and SCAMPER as the support.Then,based on the analysis of related elements in the model,the maker activity flow pointing to different links is designed.The design process emphasizes the operability of the maker activity,the iterative loop of the process,and so on.Finally,in order to test the teaching effect of the design model of the maker activity based on design thinking,the junior high school students of a middle school are taken as the research object,and the 3D printing and maker space are used as the carrier and support,and the model is practiced in the maker activity.Finally,the data is collected and analyzed.The research results show that applying the model to the maker activities can effectively improve the diversity and innovation of the works,improve the students' enthusiasm for learning,enhance students' ability to solve problems,and help students develop their innovative ability.
