A Study On The Students' Agitations In The Fourth ZhongShan University

This study makes a detailed analysis of the three students' agitations that took place in the Fourth ZhongShan University during the trial period of the system of University district.It reviews the process of the establishment and revocation of the Central University District,and reproduces the origin and development of the "free storm and the movement to expel Hu" and the "school name storm".In the three Students' agitations,students express their demands and promote the reform of school affairs through various ways,but they also cause confusion to the authorities and affect the views of all sectors of society on the reform of University District system.Under the comprehensive effect of various factors,the university district system was finally abolished.The analysis shows that the contradiction between students and school authorities is "name"--school name and "reality"--the problem of funds;students play the roles of "participant","feedback" and "supervisor" in the process of trial implementation in University Districts;students express their demands in more radical ways,such as placing slogans,handing out leaflets and striking classes;and the final conclusion of the three campaigns is that the school cooperates properly.The three students' agitations in the Fourth ZhongShan University have "contributed greatly" to the failure of the reform of University District system.In the process of system design and implementation,attention should be paid to the rights and demands of students.
