Jilin Li,the originator of situational education in China,is a national super teacher and child educator.Since he taught in Second Affiliated Primary School of Nantong Normal University in 1956,she has concentrated on Chinese teaching.In 1978,she was inspired by situational teaching in foreign language teaching and embarked on the road of exploring situational education in China.After years of research and practice,Jilin Li has created situational teaching,situational education and situational courses in China,forming the theoretical and operational systems of situational teaching in reading,composition,literacy and writing,pointing out the direction for the reform of modern Chinese teaching.This paper mainly studies the core of Jilin Li's Chinese situational teaching,that is situational teaching of reading.This paper is divided into three parts to study Jilin Li's situational teaching of reading.The first part is an overall exposition of his situational teaching thought of reading,which points out the definition of "situational teaching",the main content of her situational teaching of reading,the ideological basis and formation process of her situational teaching of reading,and systematically grasps Jilin Li's situational teaching thought of reading.The second part discusses the basic principles followed in Jilin Li's situational teaching of reading and application program,and explains its principles in combination with main cases in her situational teaching of reading.The third part is to analyze the practical significance of Jilin Li's situational teaching of reading based on the concept of "core accomplishment" in Chinese education today,and to put forward the significance of Jilin Li's situational teaching thought of reading to students' development,teachers' promotion and Chinese curriculum construction.
