The "coaching hot" phenomenon has always been a hot topic of social concern, which has even led to a series of profound educational topics.Get into the whys and wherefores, more and more students choosing to participate in off-campus counseling and more and more parents scrambling to send their children to participate in off-campus counseling is nothing more than trying to get students to get good grades in the exam and to enter excellent colleges and universities and to have a bright future. However, whether the impact of participating in off-campus tutoring on students' academic performance is really as desired by parents? Is it really worthwhile as the counseling agency promises? At present, the researches on this issue have different conclusions. The regions, disciplines, and sample sizes are reasons for different results. Therefore, this paper intends to conduct a questionnaire survey on some junior high school students in Suzhou, and have a talk with both teachers and students,to analyze the relationship between their physics learning effectiveness and participation in physics off-campus tutoring in order to obtain valuable conclusions and suggestions. The learning effectiveness is divided into self-efficacy and grades to be analyzed.Through a questionnaire survey of 793 senior one students, interviews with some high school physics teachers, experienced off-campus tutors and some students,we found that students' self-efficacy after physical school counseling improved. When off-campus counseling significantly promotes the progress of students,it will greatly enhance students' interest and enthusiasm for learning. The physical performance of 128 students was quantitatively analyzed, and 13 grades were used to indicate the student's physics academic performance.Statistical analysis found that there was no significant correlation between the student's physics scores and whether or not to participate in physics off-campus counseling. The results of the difference significance test also showed that there was no actual significant difference between the physical scores of the students who participated in the counseling and did not participate in the tutoring.
