The construction of boarding schools has effectively improved the school-running conditions of some poor rural schools, increased the scale of compulsory education schools, and played a positive role in ensuring compulsory education for school-age children in poor areas. But in reality, there are many problems in rural boarding schools, such as the impact of young boarding on children's physical and mental development, especially the poor accommodation conditions and lack of professional intervention in rural boarding schools in central and Western China, which make students in a long-term lack of family care and emotional communication with their families.Stereotyped and closed campus life,so that these children's emotional socialization, family parent-child relationship, internal security and other aspects of many hidden dangers and problems. On the basis of searching the literature about boarding school and boarding school management at home and abroad and their influence on pupils, this paper takes G town boarding primary school in poverty-stricken arid area as an example to study the influence of boarding system management mode on pupils' growth and how to adopt social workers' intervention, and explains it with the theory of socialization and micro-power technology.G Town is a poverty-stricken town located in the arid area of northeastern China. There are no villages or teaching sites in the villages under its jurisdiction.Only a central primary school including kindergartens has been set up in the center of G Town.Because most of the students are far from home, the school adopts the way of student boarding school. In this paper,a quantitative and qualitative method is used to investigate the living and learning conditions of the students in this school.Through the data,we understand the demographic and sociological characteristics of this group.By using in-depth interviews,we understand the characteristics of the management model of G town boarding primary school and the students' feelings about school life.On this basis, the influence of boarding management mode on the growth of primary school students is deeply analyzed. The study found that the daily management of G town boarding primary school is very strict for pupils in physical and psychological control, and has a certain negative impact on pupils' psychological development. In this regard, this study proposes specific implementation paths of social worker intervention based on the perspective of social support.Compared with the reform of education system, social work can play a more targeted role: social workers can not only bring emotional comfort to students, but also systematically guide students to set up correct concepts, according to the growth needs of students, linking social, school and family forces.Through professional social work intervention,we can better improve the educational environment and give children social support outside school, teachers and parents.Through our research,we hope to improve the management level of rural boarding primary schools, create a good growth environment for primary school students, and promote their physical and mental health growth to provide reference and inspiration.
