| Social adaptation refers to an adaptive process in which an individual continuously learns,debugs,and develops in response to the current social situation in the external environment to match the basic needs of society,that is,a unique development under the interaction of socialization and individualization.process.Emotional intelligence is a basic social skill that helps individuals build interpersonal networks,namely emotional intelligence.The beginning of high school indicates that the individual’s life development has reached a new level.Good self-examination ability,emotional regulation ability,interpersonal communication ability,positive coping ability and other adaptive abilities will directly or indirectly affect the individual’s next face.The way in which attitudes and behaviors are expressed when there are numerous and complex information in the outside world.The purpose of this research is to use the emotional intelligence and social adaptation assessment tools to investigate and research a group of boarding high school freshmen.Finally,it was confirmed that a total of 50 group members participated in the group activities of Study 2,of which 25 were in the experimental group and 25 in the control group.This study designs a group counseling intervention program with emotional intelligence as the starting point on the basis of respecting the students’ actual learning situation and schedule.The experimental group was given a total of 7 group counseling courses for two months,while the control group did not apply any intervention.,and then explore the intervention effect of group counseling based on emotional intelligence on improving the social maladjustment of boarding high school freshmen.Research indicates:(1)The emotional intelligence level of boarding high school freshmen is moderate or above.Among them,the self-emotional regulation has the highest score,and the group has significant differences in the variables of whether it is a class cadre,the location of the family,and the educational level of the parents.(2)The social adaptation status of boarding high school freshmen was at the medium level or above.Among them,the prosocial tendency dimension has the highest score,and this group has significant differences in the variables of gender,class cadre,family location,and parental education level.(3)There is a significant correlation between the emotional intelligence level and social adaptation ability of boarding high school freshmen,and emotional intelligence has a significant predictive effect on the social adaptation ability of this group.Among them,emotional perception is the strongest explanation,which can explain social positive adaptation47 % variation,social negative adaptation 20.1% variation.(4)Through the difference test between the experimental group and the control group,the research results found that the emotional intelligence and social adaptation of the experimental group had significant effects before and after the intervention,while the control group had no significant effect,indicating that this study designed group counseling with emotional intelligence as the starting point.The intervention program was significantly effective. |
