Since the reform and opening up,migrant workers have made important contributions to China's economic development. With the reform of household registration system and the improvement of welfare distribution system in recent years, migrant workers can better share the benefits brought by social and economic development. However,it is undeniable that migrant workers are the disadvantaged groups in urban labor market at present, most of the migrant workers in the city of low-end labor market still engaged in bitter, dirty and tired, the poor work,in the face of high strength work pressure and worries about the future uncertainty, makes their anxiety depression mood is cumulative.Studies have confirmed that migrant workers have more severe depressive symptoms than the normal population. The depressive symptoms of international floating population has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad, but as a unique domestic floating population in China, the depressive symptoms of migrant workers has not received due attention in the academic world. As an important part of new human capital(including non-cognitive ability),depressive symptoms plays an important role in the wage income determination equation. However, previous literatures on the influence of non-cognitive ability on migrant workers' wage income were generally considered and analyzed from the comprehensive dimension of non-cognitive ability, and few analyzed migrant workers' wage income directly from the subdivision dimension of depressive symptoms. If migrant workers' depressive symptoms is not fully paid attention to,it will not be conducive to fully tapping the dividend of human resources, successfully overcoming the middle-income trap, and promoting social and economic stability and harmonious development. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the depressive symptoms of migrant workers and its impact on wage income.According to this, this paper is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction and literature review, corresponding to the first and second chapters of this paper. This part mainly introduces the research background, significance, objectives and methods, and at the same time reviews the relevant literature at home and abroad, and defines the relevant concepts involved in the paper. The second part is theoretical analysis, corresponding to the third chapter of this paper. This part firstly introduces the new human capital theory and the labor market segmentation theory, and then leads to the analysis framework of the negative impact of migrant workers' depressive symptoms on wage.Second, through the indirect effects of physical health transmission, migrant workers with depressive symptoms will reduce the level of physical health, which will have a negative impact on income;Third, indirect effects of conduction through job stability, migrant workers with depressive symptoms will reduce job stability, resulting in the loss of specific human capital accumulation, resulting in the decline of wage level. The third part is data source and sample description, corresponding to the fourth chapter of the article.First of all, this paper uses Chinese family tracking(CFPS)in 2012 adult data screening migrant workers, and Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression(CES-D)to measure migrant workers depressive symptoms in 2012,and then trace to 2014,hold two phase have the wage of migrant workers, and to form the balance to the inspection of the panel data. The results showed that there was no systematic loss of samples. On this basis, descriptive analysis of samples was carried out to analyze the distribution characteristics of depressive symptoms among migrant workers with different individual characteristics. The results showed that,in 2012,29% of the total migrant workers had depressive symptoms, and women, those with low education level,no spouse and migrant workers in central and western regions were more prone to depressive symptoms. The fourth part is empirical analysis, corresponding to the fifth and sixth chapters of the article. In chapter 5,OLS regression, propensity score matching(PSM)and generalized exact matching(CEM)were used to analyze the influence of migrant workers' depressive symptoms on their income in 2014.The results showed that the depressive symptoms of migrant workers in 2012 had a significant negative impact on their income in 2014.In chapter 6,from the perspective of migrant workers' physical health level and job stability, this paper explain the migrant workers in 2012 with depressive symptoms effect on wage in 2014 in the middle of the action mechanism, respectively using OLS regression,Probit model and multinomial Logit model validation of migrant workers in 2012 depressive symptoms effect on the level of health in 2014,using Heckman two-step analysis in 2012 during the depressive symptoms and the two work transformation and the relationship between the duration of the work. The results showed that,in 2012,migrant workers with depressive symptoms were in poor physical health. Moreover, during the period from 2012 to 2014,they conducted inter-industry work conversion and shortened work duration, which led to the loss of specific human capital of migrant workers and reduced the wage level in 2014.The fifth part is the conclusion and the policy suggestion, corresponding to chapter 7 of this article. On the basis of summarizing the research conclusion,to boost national smooth realization in 2020 100 million agricultural population transfer and other permanent population in cities and towns,as well as the successful across the middle-income trap, this paper put forward the corresponding migrant workers depressive symptoms management countermeasures: At society level, the government should speed up to establish some psychological medical facilities for migrant workers, and the media should play its own information dissemination superiority, through various channels to promote migrant workers recognize the absence of depressive symptoms and take steps to deal with it.For example, television and Internet platform can make some introductions about depressive symptoms, and set up some public number in view of the migrant workers' mental health; At the enterprise level, employers should consider establishing psychological counseling rooms to help migrant workers alleviate their depressive symptoms; On the individual level, migrant workers should face up to their possible depressive symptoms, dare to admit and face it actively, and take some common self-adjustment measures. If the depressive symptoms is not improved through their own efforts, migrant workers should seek the diagnosis and help of professional psychologists in a timely manner.
