With the continuous breakthrough of the urban-rural dual system,a large number of surplus rural labor force has entered the urban labor market.Data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that the total number of migrant workers in China in 2019 was 291 million,and migrant workers have become a powerful driving force for China’s economic development,However,one fact that cannot be ignored is that the employment quality of migrant workers is still not high.The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China explicitly proposed to "promote migrant workers to find jobs and start businesses through multiple channels",so as to improve the income level of migrant workers.In recent years,the employment way of migrant workers can choose constantly enrich,but different ways of employment of migrant workers employment benefits exactly what effect is still not clear,therefore,the research on the rural migrant workers employment way the influence of the stability of the employment and wage income,and on this basis,optimizing the choice of migrant workers employment way,improve the well-being of migrant workers employment is an effective breakthrough in the quality of migrant workers employment.According to national health committee,the floating population dynamic survey data in 2016,with monthly income as a measure of wage income,migrant workers and the employer whether non-fixed term or a fixed term labor contract as the measure of employment is stable,the relationship network,directly apply for and intermediaries three career paths set as control group,the relationship between the network using multinomial Logit model to analyze the influence factors of migrant workers employment way to choose,and with multiple samples of deviation correction equation and employment stability equation as the foundation,This paper analyzes the differences of the influence of the three ways of employment on the wage income and employment stability of migrant workers.From the perspective of migrant workers’ choice of employment approaches,the relationship network is still the first choice for migrant workers to find jobs,followed by direct employment,while the proportion of intermediary agencies is relatively low,Women,rich labor market experience and higher education level enable migrant workers to choose more employment through intermediary agencies,while men,lack of labor market experience,low education level,parents have experience of going out,single and long distance of migration encourage migrant workers to choose more employment through relationship network.From the perspective of the impact of employment channels on the employment welfare of migrant workers,intermediary agencies and direct recruitment can enhance the employment stability and wage income of migrant workers,and intermediary agencies play a stronger role;Different types of intermediary agencies have different influences on the employment welfare of migrant workers.Internet and social commercial intermediaries can play a greater role in improving the employment welfare of migrant workers,Heterogeneity of the studies show that directly apply for and intermediaries in the old and the new generation,men and women,skilled and low-skilled migrant workers compared with network can significantly enhance the migrant workers employment stability,directly apply for and intermediaries in the old and the new generation,men and women are able to significantly increase the wage income,but only in the highly skilled migrant workers increased wages.Meanwhile,the robustness test is carried out from two aspects of method and variable definition.In terms of methods,the method of propensity score matching was used for re-analysis,and it was found that the conclusion of this paper had not changed.In terms of variable definition,wage income was defined as hourly wage,and employment stability was only limited to fixed term contract,and the conclusion of this paper was still unchanged.The conclusion of this paper shows that,on the one hand,we should continue to increase the investment in education in rural areas,strengthen the vocational skills training of migrant workers,improve the level of human capital of migrant workers,so as to increase the choice of employment channels for migrant workers.Continue to encourage,on the other hand,the Labour market intermediary services to migrant workers coverage,strengthen the intermediary institutions in the role of migrant workers and enterprises on the position match,realize the skill levels of migrant workers and job matching accurately,effectively reduce the degree of information asymmetry in the employment,reduce the friction of the labor market,improve the welfare of migrant workers employment.
