The Application Of Performance Evaluation For Teaching Management In Local Universities

Teaching is the central work of universities,and teaching management plays a particularly important role in the management of universities.To improve the scientization and normalization of teaching management in local universities,the application of performance evaluation in the teaching management of local universities has become an important tendency in their internal management reform.From the perspectives of teachers,students and teaching administrators,and based on the the current situation of performance evaluation for the teaching management in local universities,this thesis tries to establish an index system for the performance evaluation of teaching management in secondary colleges,and test,modify it in practice.Document reference,questionnaire survey,thorough interview and action methods were mainly applied in this research.Seven chapters are included in this thesis.Chapter One is the introduction of this research.It is mainly about the description of problems,literature review,and technical route and methods for this research.Chapter Two is about definitions and theory basis.In this chapter,relative concepts are defined and theoretical tools are selected for the research of this thesis.Chapter Three is about the connotation of performance evaluation policies.In this chapter,the connotation of performance evaluation policies and requirements are specified and detailed.Chapter Four is about the investigation and statistical analyses on the current situation of performance evaluation for teaching management in local universities.In this chapter,the problems in the teaching management of secondary colleges are indicated by investigation,and statistical analysis on the current situation of performance evaluation for teaching management in some local universities.Chapter Five is about the establishment of performance evaluation index system for teaching management in local universities.This chapter tries to establish a performance evaluation index system for the teaching management of local universities.Chapter Six is about the application of performance evaluation for teaching management in local universities,using Gannan Normal University as a case representative of local universities,and test,and modify the performance evaluation index system for teaching management in practice.Chapter Seven is about the suggestions and insufficiency of this reseach.In this chapter,improving suggestions for performance evaluation in local universities are put forward on the basis of this research,and improving suggestions for the insufficiency of this research are put forward for future research.
