The teaching of group essay reading is a new teaching mode of reading which has emerged in recent years.In form,it has changed from single text teaching to the text more teaching,but in essence,it is a great reform of the teaching idea of reading.To some extent,mass reading teaching can broaden students' reading horizon,increase reading quantity,improve reading speed and cultivate students' comprehensive thinking ability.First-line teachers acting group article reading teaching practice,to make reading group article continuously into the middle school language classroom,the scholars in the language teaching in the concept of group article reading connotation,theoretical basis and implementation process are studied,However,there are still some problems in the practice of mass reading teaching,to that end,aiming at the problems in junior high school group article reading teaching is studied,using the related theory knowledge,puts forward some optimization strategy combining with his own teaching practice.This research,on the basis of literature review on group reading teaching,expounds the research background,purpose,significance and current research trends,and explains the related theories of group reading,including the definition and discrimination of concepts,teaching value and implementation steps.In the aspect of current situation research,questionnaire survey and interview are combined.The questionnaire survey includes four dimensions: teachers' understanding of reading and group reading,teaching process of group reading and evaluation method.The current situation of group reading teaching in several schools where the internship is located is investigated,and data are analyzed and sorted out.In addition,an interview outline is designed to interview teachers of four types,namely those with theory and practice,those without theory and practice,those with theory and practice,and those without theory and practice,so as to truly reflect the existing problems in the teaching practice of mass reading in junior high school.The study found that the problems in group reading teaching of junior high school Chinese mainly include the following aspects: teachers lack of theoretical knowledge related to group reading,inactive teaching attitude,unreasonable text selection,improper classroom arrangement,single teaching process and random evaluation system,etc.,making group reading teaching inefficient.Aiming at the problems found in the investigation and research,this paper puts forward the strategies to optimize the teaching of group essay reading by applying relevant theoretical knowledge and combining with their own teaching practice.Actively develop relevant teaching resources and broaden the scope of reading;Continue to carry out mass reading activities to enrich teaching experience;Constantly exploring teaching methods and enriching teaching contents;Establish multiple evaluation standards and form good habits of reflection;Attach importance to the theoretical promotion of mass reading teaching and strengthen the theoretical training of Chinese teachers.This study explored and analyzed the theory and practice of group essay reading teaching,so as to comprehensively and systematically discuss the teaching of group essay reading,and provide some reference for the later researchers and practitioners of group essay reading teaching.At the same time,I will further improve my interest and level of learning and teaching theories in this research process,so as to lay a good foundation for my future career as a teacher.
