Research On The Intergenerational Differences In Modern Marriage Concept

The intergenerational difference of marriage concept is a phenomenon during the period of social transformation in China,it is the inevitable result of the rapid development of society,its emergence and development have certain inevitability.The objective existence of intergenerational differences,it should not be an obstacle for young people to establish a correct concept of marriage,not to mention the gap between the two generations.We should face up to the intergenerational differences of modern marriage concept,take the effective measures to resolve family conflicts caused by intergenerational differences,help young people establish a correct view of marriage.In the course of social change,the concept of marriage and family of two generations should be integrated,to make due contributions to the stability and prosperity of society.In this study,used the interviews and questionnaires,through a survey of 460 young people,to understand the attitudes of visitors and parents towards eight modern marriage concepts,which from the dimensions of online homosexuality,homosexuality,celibacy,naked marriage,pre-marital cohabitation,travel marriage,pre-marital agreement,Dink,etc and so on.By comparing and reflecting the status of intergenerational differences in the concept of marriage,summarize its characteristics,explore its causes,and put forward the corresponding suggestions.The research is conducive to broadening the research field of intergenerational difference theory,to enrich the research on the intergenerational differences of the modern concept of marriage,to provide a theoretical basis for solving the marriage problems during the period,promoting the harmony and stability of marriage and family,to provide guidance for accelerating the construction of a harmonious society.The results showed that: there is little difference in attitudes towards online love betweengenerations,however,attitudes towards homosexuality,celibacy,naked marriage,premarital cohabitation,travel marriage and Dink are quite different among generations.the acceptance of modern marriage concept by the younger generation is obviously higher than that by the older generation,reasons for the formation of intergenerational differences in modern marriage concepts,mainly the concept differences between generations,the different life experiences and social backgrounds of generations.Promoting the integration of modern intergenerational marriage concepts,first of all,we should correctly understand the intergenerational differences of modern marriage concept;Secondly,we should establish the communication concept of equality and mutual respect,establish a communication mechanism of mutual understanding between generations,establish a communication method of mutual tolerance and acceptance;Besides,we should also grasp the correct guidance and accumulation of positive public opinion guidance,promote a healthy and upward view of marriage,strengthen the guidance and supervision of the mass media.
