With the deepening of our country elementary education curriculum reform and the transformation of teacher education development,regards the cultivation of the pre-service teachers as own duty teachers professional education in major challenge,and students in colleges and universities for several years as well as the "not teaching" feedback evaluation in social media often written down,the improvement of pre-service teachers' education quality is imminent.In 2017,the ministry of education decided to carry out the certification of teacher education in ordinary institutions of higher learning in order to train high-quality teachers and improve the quality of teacher education professionals.Teacher education professional certification can promote the quality of teacher education in colleges and universities to improve the quality assurance system.As the oldest and largest graduate school of education in the United States,Columbia normal university has a traditional advantage in the field of teacher education research.The normal college of Columbia University has formed a relatively perfect model of teacher education training and a relatively scientific professional evaluation system of teacher education during its one century development.At present,How to train teachers to meet the needs of social development and basic education is not only an urgent problem for colleges and universities,but also one of the urgent research topics in the field of teacher education Based on the results of the reform of teacher education evaluation in the United States,this paper summarizes the composition,characteristics and guarantee mechanism of the self-evaluation system of professional programs in teachers' colleges and universities of Columbia University,and deeply explores the merits of the self-evaluation system of teacher education major.This paper will carry out relevant research on the self-evaluation system of professional programs in teachers' colleges and universities of Columbia University,and deeply explores the merits of the self-evaluation system of teacher education major.This paper will carry out relevant research on the self-evaluation system of teacher education specialty from the following four parts to provide an implementation framework and guarantee mechanism for the construction of the self-evaluation system of teacher education specialty in Chinese colleges and universities.The first part discusses the research origin,research significance and research methods of this study,sorts out relevant research literature at home and abroad,graspes the research status of teacher education professional evaluation,and provides literature support for the following paper writing.In the second part,the related concepts involved in this study are explained and defined.The third part analyzes the general framework of the self-evaluation system of professional projects of Columbia normal university,and summarizes the framework,characteristics and guarantee mechanism of the self-evaluation system of professional projects of Columbia normal university.The fourth part analyzes the problems existing in the self-evaluation system of teachers' education specialty.In view of the current teachers' education in colleges and universities in our country the present situation of the professional self-assessment system still need to improve,in reference to professional project at Columbia University's teachers college the valuable experience of self-assessment system at the same time,combining the concrete national conditions of our teacher education development,the construction of teachers' education in colleges and universities professional self-assessment system and the specific content of the safeguard mechanism.
