Folk culture is a precious part of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation,which is created,enjoyed and inherited by the masses of a country or nation.It is a living culture and a crystallization of the wisdom of the people.History is created by people from all walks of life.In history teaching,we should not only teach the historical activities of those "elites",but also teach the traces left by the common people in history.Folk culture is an important historical curriculum resource,with unique educational value: folk culture is very interesting,it is easy to stimulate students' interest in learning history;Folk culture is regional and inheritable,which is conducive to enhancing students' concept of time and space.Folk culture is the crystallization of the people's wisdom,which is conducive to the cultivation of students' materialistic conception of history.The connotation of folk culture is rich,which is conducive to broadening students' knowledge and improving their quality of historical materials.Folk culture is the culture around students,which is helpful for students to learn history from life,understand life from history,and improve their ability to explain history.Folk culture is very local,is conducive to the cohesion of national identity,to express the feelings of the country.To give full play to the role of folk culture in junior middle school history teaching,the teacher in the use of folk culture in history teaching should stick to four principles: the objectivity principle,the use of folk culture,to use the stand,viewpoint and method of historical materialism,to analyze the folk culture,carry forward the outstanding folk culture,criticizing the poor folk;The principle of moderation,folk culture mainly plays a supplementary role in history teaching,history classroom teaching is still based on the main historical knowledge,can not "discard the essence to the end";The principle of localism actively integrates the folk culture of students' hometown into the history teaching and gives full play to the value of folk culture.The principle of inclusiveness aims to expand the folk cultures of other regions,ethnic groups and countries in history teaching,and guide students to understand the diversity of cultures in the world,and to respect and appreciate the unique folk cultures around the world.In the history teaching of junior high school,the teaching activities of teachers and studentsare mainly carried out around the history teaching material.In order to effectively play the educational value of folk culture in the history teaching material,teachers should firstly analyze the content of the teaching material,dig,comb and refine the folk culture content contained in the history teaching material.Secondly,the content of folk culture contained in the textbook should be expanded appropriately,and the available folk culture resources can be found from such teaching resources as literature resources,network resources,local cultural resources,historical relics resources,and so on,so as to enrich the teaching resources with folk culture consciously.Thirdly,the author innovates the teaching design with the folk culture skillfully,and uses the folk culture reasonably in the history classroom teaching.Finally,in addition to the application of folk culture in history classroom teaching,the role of folk culture in junior middle school history teaching can also be brought into play by organizing research topic learning,carrying out social practice and other extracurricular activities.
