With the continuous development and deepening of curriculum reform,more and more attention has been paid to the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality.In the outline of basic education curriculum reform(Trial)at the beginning of this century,it is very clear that we should encourage students to take the initiative,encourage students to be diligent in doing things,train students' ability to collect information,train students' ability to deal with information,train students' ability to think about problems,and train students' ability to solve problems.Biology is a subject based on experiments.The acquisition of knowledge mainly comes from the real practice of learning.Therefore,in the normal process of education and teaching,it is particularly important for students to explore the problems they encounter through their own practice,find solutions in the process of solving practical problems,and cultivate students' problem-solving skills.The Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)clearly points out that students should actively participate in the learning process of biology curriculum.The basic idea of the course is to change students' learning style,advocate inquiry learning,cultivate students' practical ability,and stimulate students' interest in biology learning.Therefore,in the process of biology learning,the importance of exploratory experiment teaching is self-evident.However,in the middle school biology teaching,the inquiry experiment did not cause the due attention,satisfied to let the students operate some simple demonstration experiments.The reason is that there are not only hardware conditions,but also software conditions.Teachers lack the concept and consciousness of inquiry experiment teaching,and the training and study of biology inquiry experiment teaching are not enough.In order to promote the reform of basic education,Jiangsu Province took the lead in launching the construction of curriculum base nationwide.Curriculum base is a comprehensive teaching practice platform,which plays an important role in promoting students' independent learning and cooperative exploration.The author works at the experimental middle school of Haizhou District in the city of Lianyungang.The school has also established a biology curriculum base.After years of construction,the experimental conditions have been significantly improved.However,the role of curriculum base has not been fully played in teaching,and the function of education has not been well developed.In view of the problems existing in the experimental teaching of biology in middle school,such as the lack of experimental resources and the lack of students' ability to explore and innovate,and in combination with the needs of the construction of school curriculum base,this paper,guided by the advanced educational concepts such as the theory of inquiry learning,the theory of constructivism learning,the theory of humanism,the theory of recently developed regionalism and the theory of cognitive load,has carried out "relying on the expansion of curriculum base" The research and practice of inquiry experiment teaching in junior high school biology.Relying on the biology course base of the school,the author has made full use of the experimental conditions of the botanical and aquarium and the abundant animal and plant resources in the base,and carried out the design and teaching of four exploratory experimental teaching cases,including plant reproduction,water cycle of green plants and biosphere,carbon oxygen balance of green plants and biosphere and animals in water Learning practice,on the one hand,expands the teaching content of inquiry experiment of biology in junior high school,on the other hand,enriches the connotation of the construction of curriculum base,and provides certain reference materials for the reform of inquiry experiment teaching and the construction of biology curriculum base in junior high school.
