Since its birth,the word "authority" has been applied to all aspects of society,and it is also one of the important conditions to ensure the normal operation of social life.For the education industry,teachers especially need authority,which is also the inevitable requirement of teaching.But for physical education teachers,in the real education situation,the new curriculum reform puts forward new requirements for teachers,and the enhancement of students' autonomy impacts the authority of physical education teachers.The authority of physical education teachers refers to the power that teachers can make students believe in physical education and teaching.It is the combination of "power" and "prestige",and has the essential attributes of both.From the nature of "power" and "prestige",the authority of physical education teachers should be the result of internal and external factors.For this reason,this paper attempts to start from the receiver of the authority of physical education teachers-students,to investigate about 400 junior high school students' recognition of the authority of physical education teachers.At the same time,in the process of questionnaire survey,the students were interviewed informally and communicated with some PE teachers,in order to understand the real situation of physical education teachers and students in the authority relationship between teachers and students.Through the analysis of the data and interview data,it is found that junior high school students generally recognize the authority of physical education teachers,but in different aspects,there are differences in students' recognition of the authority of physical education teachers.Especially in the quality of physical education teachers,junior high school students have significant differences in the recognition of the authority of physical education teachers.Junior high school students pay more attention to whether the professional quality of physical education teachers can make them believe,and then obey the authority of physical education teachers.However,in the actual situation of education,the openness and particularity of the physical education classroom and the self-consciousness of junior high school students' awakening all make the physical education teachers have to rely on their authority to take measures to control the students in order to maintain the classroom order and avoid the problems in the classroom management,which makes junior high school students' awakening of the sense of independent rights violated to a certain extent,and then there are some contradictions between the authority of physical education teachers and junior high school students.For junior high school students,they are in the period of vigorous development of self-consciousness.They think that they are mature adults.Therefore,physical education teachers' control over them seems to negate their "adult" selfdefinition,which is an infringement of their autonomy.For physical education teachers,they are teachers.Junior high school students are not mature yet.They have the right and responsibility to control.The "authority of physical education teachers" produced by the joint action of physical education teachers and junior high school students must be balanced between physical education teachers and junior high school students in order to play the most effective role.Therefore,on the one hand,from the perspective of external factors,the state should improve the relevant legal system,clearly stipulate the limits of power for physical education teachers to control students,and protect the legal status and salary of junior high school physical education teachers On the other hand,from the internal factors,junior middle school physical education teachers should improve themselves,strive to improve their own quality,establish the correct value orientation,face the rebellious psychology of junior middle school students,also correctly treat the rebellious psychology of students,improve themselves in many ways,let students believe in and identify the authority of physical education teachers from the bottom of their hearts.
