With the acceleration of urbanization,a large number of migrant workers enter the city to find employment opportunities.There are both formal and informal ways of searching for work.The informal way is to use social relationships to get jobs.In today's human society,it is not uncommon to take an informal approach to job hunting.It is not difficult to achieve employment,but it is not easy to achieve employment that meets the expectations of workers,especially for migrant workers.Since migrant workers live in rural areas for a long time,the social capital in the working cities is poor,and the ability to obtain urban employment information is weak.In the employment environment with asymmetric information,it is difficult to effectively screen and judge employment information in a rational and objective manner.At this time,it is more susceptible to informal channels.The core competitiveness of workers lies in human capital,including formal education and "learning by doing" education.Whether the quality of the work obtained by migrant workers is good or bad is obviously related to human capital and job search channels.In order to explore the relationship between them,this paper starts research.This paper uses the data from the "China Urban Migrant Workers Employment and Food Demand"project jointly conducted by China Agricultural University and Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University in 2014.Based on the research on domestic and foreign research,the employment quality index is constructed.The multivariate and quantile regression measurement models are used to conduct empirical analysis.The main conclusions include:(1)Human capital promotes the improvement of the employment quality of migrant workers,and formal education is the most comprehensive human capital for the quality of employment.In the low-end migrant workers labor market,the return of human capital is the largest;(2)Migrant workers who introduce work through acquaintances are more likely to obtain low-paying,high-intensity and less stable jobs,and the quality of comprehensive employment is relatively poor.The introduction of acquaintances has the greatest impact on the group of migrant workers with low employment levels,followed by the group of migrant workers with medium employment levels,and less on the group of migrant workers with high employment levels;(3)There are also differences in the impact of human capital and acquaintances on the quality of employment among migrant workers in different characteristics.The quality of employment in the new generation is more susceptible to human capital,and the introduction of acquaintances has a deeper impact on the older generation of migrant workers;Regardless of the household registration,human capital can help to improve the quality of employment of migrant workers,and acquaintances have a greater negative impact on migrant workers in this city in the low-level job market;The employment quality of migrant workers in construction industry is more susceptible to human capital.The impact of acquaintance introduction on the employment quality of migrant workers in manufacturing industry is greater than the employment quality of migrant workers in construction industry,and is not significant in service industryFinally,according to the above analysis results,this paper puts forward four suggestions:the government should attach importance to the education of migrant workers,standardize the labor market,and Provide services based on heterogeneity.
