The rapid development of the Internet age has not only provided convenience and speed for people's lives,but also triggered many social conflicts,among which the problem of Internet addiction has gradually emerged.In recent years,the age of Internet users in our country has extended to the trend of minors.News reports on adolescents' Internet addiction have become commonplace.Internet addiction not only has adverse effects on the physical and mental health of adolescents,but also has an adverse impact on the development of the entire society.In response to this problem,all sectors of society are seeking solutions.The two most common methods at present are abstaining from Internet addiction schools and psychotherapeutic treatments.However,some of the shortcomings revealed indicate that the effectiveness of these two methods needs to be further verified.What is worth exploring is that social work as a scientific intervention method provides a possibility to solve the problem of adolescents' Internet addiction,but the current related research still mostly stays at the level of macro-theoretical and strategic exploration.Practical research is still at an exploratory stage.This study uses group work methods to intervene early on in young people with Internet addiction,in order to reduce the degree of adolescents'Internet addiction and help them establish a healthier lifestyle.The researchers chose to use the Internet addiction group of D community in Nanjing City,Jiangsu Province as an example to conduct group work intervention and research.First,the researchers measured the internet addiction scales of teenagers who participated in the project.The results showed that they were at the critical value of Internet addiction,which is generally characterized by early Internet addiction.Through the observation and interview of the selected six service subjects,it is found that the reasons for their Internet addiction are related to their own development characteristics and self-cognition,and they also have influence from bad social culture.Based on these reasons,the researchers decided to select a combination of cognitive intervention and behavioral intervention to intervene the client.Under the guidance of cognitive behavioral theory and social learning theory,this study has developed a group work plan for the clients and has intervened from their psychological,cognitive,and behavioral aspects.A total of six group activities have been designed.These are the first time.Gathering together,the second"recurring",the third "I see you",the fourth "Networking",the fifth "being your own master",the sixth "and cherishing".During the group activities,the researcher always upholds the ethical values of the social workers and uses professional skills to help the clients to re-understand themselves,change the bad perception of the network,reduce the excessive use of the network,and return to a healthy social life.By assessing the effectiveness of the group's interventions,the results show that the level of Internet addiction among clients has decreased,and has brought about other improvements,such as the formation of a rational understanding of the network,reducing the dependence on the network,Develop a good online behavior,can better control their emotions,and the parent-child relationship has been improved to enrich social life.Studies have shown that group work can effectively involve young people in early internet addiction problems.In general,this study has actively explored the issues of adolescents' Internet addiction,especially early addictions,and formed a set of ideas,methods,and assessment methods for the group to work on early Internet addiction.In the process of reflection,this study also pointed out that in the process of team work intervention,the environmental system around the service object needs to be taken into account.Intervention from families,schools,and communities around the client is also a possible direction for later social work and research.
