A Case Study Of Peer Group Integration Of Community Orphan

With the continuous progress of society and the gradual improvement of the social welfare security system,orphans have received extensive attention as a special vulnerable group in society.Many scholars at home and abroad have conducted a lot of research on orphans,and found that during the growth of orphans,there are certain gaps in the development of personality characteristics,social interaction,and resilience compared with children who grow up in normal families.This makes it difficult for orphans to integrate into their peer groups.As an important part of orphans,community orphans have more orphans but less attention,and face more obstacles in growth and development.The traditional way to help orphans pay more attention to the material security level of orphans,and can not really help the community orphans to integrate into the peer group,and successfully complete the socialization,which requires new forces to help them.As a new force,social work can play a unique role in the integration of peer groups of community orphans with its professional working methods and ideas.This article mainly integrates the peer group of community orphans as the research theme,takes a community orphan in X community of Shangjie District,Zhengzhou City as the research object,takes the ecosystem theory,the dominant perspective theory and the social support network theory as the guidance,through case study Method,observation method and structured interview method to collect and organize data.Through the collected data,we understand that community orphans have problems such as low willingness to communicate with peer groups,psychological barriers,low self-efficacy,and difficulties in social communication.On this basis,based on the psychological characteristics of community orphans,the method of case work is used to improve their self-cognition and enhance their social communication knowledge and skills.Meanwhile,group work and community work are introduced in the process of carrying out case service,provide opportunities for peer groups and social interaction.After that,the service contents of the case work are introduced in detail,and finally the service process and effectiveness of the service are evaluated and reflected in detail.Social work intervenes in the integration of peer groups of community orphans,which is unique to the work of orphans in our country and can enrich the relief work for community orphans.Although this study has no universal significance,it has acertain reference and reference role for the integration of peer work into the peer group of community orphans.How to make social work play a greater role in the growth and development of orphans requires continuous research and exploration.
