As a crucial stage in the process of individual socialization,childhood play an important role in shaping their behavior and consciousness.A good family environment and parental accompany will contribute to the healthy growth and development of children.Orphan who lost their parental care,when faced with unfamiliar,dangerous situation will have a sense of tension and depression.Therefore,peer relationship is an important source of orphan emotional support,and good peer relationship will have significance to their healthy growth.But in the project about Gansu province orphan school,the author found that the Tibetan orphans in the school lack of communication enthusiasm and self-confidence in peer group communication.Aiming at this problem,this article takes the Tibetan orphans' peer communication ability as the theme,and research on social work practice for this problem,turn the problem into four aspects:(1)Aware of the importance of peer group interpersonal communication on self growth and development.(2)Forming cognition of self and others.(3)Willing to take the first step in interpersonal communication,and actively seeking to cooperate and interactive with others.(4)Improve the ability to cope with peer group interpersonal issues,willing to develop new interpersonal relationships.This study selected growth group model,and held a total of five groups of activities.The study found that childhood orphans,on the one hand,are in a sensitive and self-abased stage,are facing many growth problems.On the other hand they have the potential to change.The growth team emphasizes that the service objects as the core,exploring the advantages and potential of them,and using group dynamics.And finally to achieve the purpose of service object growth and change.Based on this,this paper argues that the function of the growth team is significant and effective in the practice of growth and improvement of interpersonal communication ability of Tibetan orphans.For the Tibetan orphans peer group communication problems,through interpersonal capacity growth team can improve the initiative and self-confidence in the process of communication with peers.At the same time,through the groupactivities can provide interaction platform between children and their peer,and ultimately improve and develop interpersonal ability,so as to obtain sustained and stable support from peer groups.
