Research purpose:Physical education is an important part of school education,but the practical problems about students' mental health and physical quality have not been solved.Therefore,it is urgent to introduce new teaching concepts based on the original theory and practice,and explore new teaching methods in the classroom and teaching practice,so as to improve the effectiveness of teaching.Therefore,this study conducts the teaching experiment of interesting intervention in the track and field teaching of senior high school.By adding the elements of interest,playfulness and teamwork to the content arrangement and teaching design,it explores the application of interesting intervention in the track and field teaching of senior high school and its impact on the physical quality and mental health of senior high school students,It can provide some reference and practical scheme for the reform and improvement of track and field teaching methods.Research methods:Through literature,interviews,experiments,tests and other methods,this study randomly selected two natural classes as experimental class and control class.After 16 hours of interesting track and field teaching,the changes of students' physical quality and mental health before and after the teaching were compared.The test indexes of physical quality are as follows:50 meters,standing long jump,sitting forward bending,1 minute female sit up and male pull-up,1000 meters male and 800 meters female.The mental health scale of middle school students in China was compiled by Professor Wang Jisheng,a famous psychologist in China Conclusion:(1)There are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in the indexes of 50 meter run and 1000 meter/800 meter run.The interesting teaching intervention of track and field has a positive impact on the speed and endurance quality of the first year high school students.(2)There was no difference between the experimental class and the control class in the indexes of standing long jump,sitting forward bending and pull up(male)and sit up(female).The interesting intervention of track and field teaching had no effect on the upper limb strength,waist and abdomen strength,explosive force and flexibility quality of the male students in senior one.(3)There is no difference between the experimental class and the control class in the total score of mental health,and there is significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in the dimension of obsessive-compulsive symptoms,but there is no difference in the learning pressure.The interesting intervention of track and field teaching helps to improve the obsessive-compulsive symptoms of senior one students,but it has no significant effect on the relief of learning pressure.
