After the individual enters the university,most college students leave their parents to live alone.They need to adapt to the university living environment.Individuals make decisions independently without the direct control of their parents,solve problems such as autonomy and self-control,develop peer relationships,manage time and money,and also complete the development task of their lives.For example,college students need to think about future careers and spouse choices.When an individual is under great stress in life,the stress will cause the individual to be emotionally disturbed to varying degrees.Anxiety is one of the common emotions that trouble individuals.Individuals will reduce their anxiety levels through various methods.Using the Internet is one of their ways to relieve anxiety.Due to the rapid development of the network,the network has the characteristics of anonymity,convenience and evasion of reality.Individuals will use the network to reduce anxiety.Prolonged use of the network may result in improper use of the network and Internet addiction.Based on this,the research aims to explore the current situation and demographic differences of stress life events,anxiety and Internet addiction among college students,and try to reveal the mechanism of anxiety between stress life events and Internet addiction.The study used the "Adolescent Life Events Scale","Anxiety Self-rating Scale" and "Chinese University Students Internet Addiction Tendency Questionnaire".The study used SPSS25.0 and AMOS24.0 software to statistically analyze the data and obtained the following results:(1)Most college students have great life pressure and there are individual differences.Among them,college students have the most learning pressure,followed by interpersonal relationships.There are significant gender differences in stressful life events among college students,of which girls' life stress is significantly higher than that of boys;There are significant differences in the stressful life events of college students in grades,of which the stress of freshmen and sophomores is significantly higher than that of juniors and seniors;There are significant differences on the stressful life events of college students between only children and non-only children.Among them,the pressure of non-only children is significantly higher than the pressure of only children;The stress life events of college students are not significantly different in different regions,but the learning pressure of college students is different in different regions.The learning pressure of college students from rural areas is significantly higher than that of college students from towns and cities.(2)The overall anxiety level of college students is not high,but some individuals have mild and moderate anxiety.The anxiety of college students differs significantly in gender.Among them,the anxiety level of girls is significantly higher than that of boys;but the anxiety of college students is not significantly different in grades,different regions,only children and non-only children.(3)The overall situation of Internet addiction among college students is not serious.Among them,college students have the most relationship addiction,followed by Internet entertainment addiction and information collection addiction.The Internet addiction of college students differs significantly in gender,among which the Internet addiction of boys is significantly higher than that of girls;Internet addiction of college students differs significantly from different regions.Compared with college students from rural and urban areas,college students from townships are more likely to have internet addiction;but the Internet addiction of college students is not significantly different in grades,only children and non-only children.(4)Interpersonal relationships,learning stress,punishment,health adaptation,and other stressful life events are significantly positively correlated with Internet relationship addiction,Internet entertainment addiction,and information gathering addiction;Interpersonal relationships,learning pressure,punishment,loss,healthy adaptation and other stressful life events are significantly positively related to anxiety;Anxiety is significantly positively correlated with Internet relationship addiction,Internet entertainment addiction,and information gathering addiction.(5)Interpersonal relationships,learning pressure,punishment,health adaptation,and other stressful life events significantly predict Internet relationship addiction,Internet entertainment addiction,and information gathering addiction.(6)Anxiety plays a completely mediating role in interpersonal relationship,learning pressure and Internet addiction,internet entertainment addiction and information collection addiction.Based on the research results,it is recommended:(1)Help students solve practical problems and face pressure correctly;(2)Help college students form positive anxiety coping strategies;(3)Strengthen the early prevention of students' Internet addiction.
