Chemistry is a basic natural science that studies the composition,structure,property and application of substances at the atomic and molecular level,focuses on the study of chemical properties and the structure of substances.Chemical experiments are indispensable in the process of chemistry teaching.The teaching of chemical experiments can not only raise students' interest in learning but also improve their abilities of operation,observation and exploration.However,due to the condition,the pattern of traditional education and insufficient attention has been paid to chemical experiment teaching it is losing its function.At present,the reform of chemistry curriculum attaches great importance to experimental teaching and aims to improve students'scientific literacy.But there are still many problems in the implementation process.In order to understand the situation of chemistry experiment teaching,the paper takes Tongliao junior middle school teaching in Mongolian as object,analyzes the existing problems in chemical experiment teaching getting from field investigation,interview and questionnaire.We found the current situation is not optimistic.There are mainly the following problems.First,the structure of chemistry teachers is unreasonable,that is,the proportion of teachers with high age and professional title is large,while the proportion of young teachers is small.Second,school leaders and chemistry teacher pay little attention to experiment teaching.Thirdly,the chemistry teacher's understanding of the function of chemistry experiment teaching is not enough.At last but not least,Students are not interested in chemistry experiment and know little about it.We propose countermeasures against the above problems.This study has certain reference value for the reform of chemistry teaching in Mongolian in Tongliao junior middle school.
