With the development of China's rapid economic integration,the differences between urban and rural areas have gradually increased,and urban-rural integration is a major decision made by the Third curriculum standard incorporates basketball as a course into the curriculum of primary and secondary schools,allowing students to exercise physically,learn basketball lessons,participate in basketball competitions organized by schools,and on the one hand,develop physical flexibility and coordination.On the one hand,it can cultivate students' interest in basketball and increase basketball reserve talents for the country.The difference between urban and rural areas has been the category of the country's vigorous promotion of governance since the reform and opening up,and the differences in the status quo of urban and rural basketball development will affect the development of students' basketball.This paper investigates the current situation of the development of basketball in urban and rural junior high schools.This paper analyzes the differences between the current situation of junior high school basketball development between urban and rural areas,and gives countermeasures and targeted suggestions to promote the coordinated and healthy development of urban and rural junior high school basketball in Neixiang County.Through the examination of a large number of relevant data and data,this paper uses the methods of literature,interviews,questionnaires and mathematical statistics to investigate and analyze the current situation of urban and rural junior high school basketball in Neixiang County,and analyze the existing problems.The research results are as follows:(1)in terms of the overall situation of physical education teachers in urban and rural junior middle schools in neixiang county,the majority of teachers are track and field teachers,while the number of basketball teachers is relatively small.At the same time,their basketball-related teaching and training is not well organized.In terms of the difference in the size of teachers,rural junior middle schools can basically meet the needs of daily school sports,but the overall situation of teachers is weaker than that of urban junior middle schools.(2)in terms of physical education courses offered by urban and rural junior middle schools in neixiang county,8 schools basically reached the standards in the first and second stages of physical education,but in the third stage of junior middle school,urban junior middle school was slightly better than rural junior middle school,but the overall curriculum schedule decreased.Physical education course basketball class schedule,mainly focused on28-32 class hours,and there are two schools in the town junior high school 33-37 class hours,overall better than rural junior high school.(3)in terms of the overall situation of basketball classroom teaching in urban and rural junior middle schools in neixiang county,shortcomings: 1.Teachers in urban and rural junior middle schools still have shortcomings in teaching goal planning,and pay little attention to students' psychology,mainly focusing on students' system health and sports health awareness;2.2.There is no systematic evaluation system for basketball courses in both urban and rural middle schools.In other aspects of basketball classroom teaching,urban junior middle school is better than rural junior middle school,mainly reflected in the following aspects: 1.2.Basketball teaching activities in urban junior middle schools are abundant,while basketball teaching activities in rural junior middle schools are relatively single.(4)in terms of the current situation of love for basketball among junior middle school students in urban and rural neixiang county,basketball ranks first among the most favorite sports among students,but there is a imbalance in the number of men and women.At the same time,the motivation of students to love basketball mainly focuses on the combination of enhancing physical health and relaxing physical and mental work and relaxation.Some students also love basketball because it can improve their basketball skills and tactics,increase their friendship with classmates and promote their teamwork ability.(5)in terms of the overall status quo of after-school basketball activities in urban and rural middle schools in neixiang county,urban middle schools are better than rural middle schools,mainly reflected in the following aspects: 1.2.The participation frequency of urbanjunior middle school students is higher than that of rural junior middle school students;3.The time for urban junior middle school students to participate in basketball exercise is longer than rural junior middle school students;4.The form of after-school basketball organization in urban middle school is richer than that in rural middle school.(6)in terms of the overall status quo of after-school basketball training and competition organized by schools in urban and rural areas of neixiang county,the overall performance is good,but the overall level of urban middle schools is better than that of rural middle schools.2.The score of basketball competition of urban junior high school is better than that of rural junior high school;3.The frequency of basketball games in urban middle schools is better than that in rural middle schools.(7)the following factors affect the development of junior high school basketball in rural and urban areas: 1.In terms of physical education teachers,the proportion of basketball majors is not
