With the continuous deepening of China's reform and openness,China's social economy has developed rapidly. The numerous peasants left their land that has fettered them for generations and went out to work in cities. They injected vitality into building a new socialist China, created more income for themselves, and made important contributions to the revitalization of the countryside. But their departure, behind them is a large number of rural young children-rural left-behind children, they have formed an increasing number of special group and a more common social phenomenon.Since the enactment of the "Compulsory Education Law" in China,China has made significant achievement in the field of universal nine-year compulsory education. However, under the influence of factors such as education, family, society, there are still many problems in the popularization of nine-year compulsory education. In particular, the dropout rate of left-behind students in rural boarding schools is still high."The task of dropout control and school maintain" is arduous.Although the state and all sectors of society are actively taking measures to control the dropout rate, the results found in the rural elementary teaching practice in the past few years are not optimistic, and even the actual situation of dropping out of school is covered by various figures and statements. For these groups at the bottom of society, education is the only way they can really get rid of the bottom class and jump out of the farm. The problem of dropping out of the left-behind students in the rural boarding system is a new problem and a new research project faced to us.We need to study and solve it.The sample school of this survey is a rural boarding junior high school. This author interviews the left-behind students who have dropped out of school, interviews the teachers, guardians and related staffs to study the factors that lead to these children to drop out of school.Through this survey and research,as well as the existing research results, the author believes that the characteristics of the dropout of junior high school students in rural boarding system are the first peak of school dropout in the seventh grade, and the second peak of dropout in the eighth grade.During the period, most of the students who dropped out of school had poor grades,A very small number of students dropped out of school due to family poverty. The proportion of male students who dropped out of school was large. The invisible dropout was not optimistic. The returning school rate after dropping out of school was extremely low.The reasons that affect these students' dropouts are social factors, family factors, internal factors of the school, and students' own factors. In response to these factors affecting rural junior high school students, the author puts forward the current strategies of how to solve the problem of dropout of school for left-behind students:strengthen elementary education in primary schools, lay a solid foundation for left-behind children, and cultivate left-good study habits and behaviors for left-behind children;Teachers should care for the students, let the children feel the love of their parents, make the children form the correct values and outlook in life; The school should have an attractive education so that students like the school and like to learn and apply what they have learned.Meanwhile,it also proposes a long-term mechanism to solve this problem:strengthen local economic construction, hence parents can stay with their children and make money simultaneously;Make compensation education for guardians, let them manage children scientifically and effectively; All communities should unite together to pay attention to left-behind children etc..
