A Brief Study On The Song Selecting Of Children's Choirs In Primary School From The Perspective Of Chorus Conductor

Children's chorus is one of the expression forms of choral art and is also an important part of Chinese choral music.It is not only reflected in the fact that there are a large number of children's choirs in China with frequent and active activities,but also because childhood is the most critical and effective stage for effective enlightenment and development music.There are a large number of children taking part in children's choir in China.The prosperity and development of children's chorus market has attracted a large number of music teachers and conductors to become practitioners in this industry.The way of choosing songs with rich style,appropriate difficulty and appropriate theme which demonstrates both interesting and aesthetic functions,becomes a problem that most practitioners of children's chorus have to face – if it is a significant theme.As the author,I once served as the conductor and instructor of a choir.In the course of my work,I fully realized the importance of selecting songs for children's choir.After some paper reading,it was found that no systematic orin-depth research result has been addressed on this issue yet in China.In addition,children in primary school have a large age span and tremendous differences in their physiological and psychological development,and thus contributing to a big difference in musical ability and aesthetic level of music.As a result,the conductor will have a big difference in the selection of chorus works,which cannot be generalized.This research work was dedicated to sorting out a set of selection methods that accord with the current situation of children's chorus in China.The purpose of this study is to put forward the corresponding practical ideas and methods of selecting songs for the children's vocal chorus in the primary school,age ranging from 6 to 12 years old.Children's chorus workers can directly refer to the method of selecting songs according to the actual situation of their own teaching chorus,so as to select songs scientifically.In order to achieve this goal,the author adopts research methods such as literature reading,practice methodology,person-to-person induction and interview,etc.,and finally comes to the following conclusion: the conductors should possess firsthanded insight into the theme and style of the music being selected.In order to achieve this goal,the author adopts literature reading method,practice method,induction method,interview method and other research methods,and finally comes to the following conclusion: the conductor should first make clear the purpose of selecting songs for the chorus,and the principles of selecting songs should be different for different purposes.In addition,the conductor should always pay attention to the new musical works.By expanding the way of song selection,conductors can broaden the scope of song selection.
