Dyersburg is close to the birthplace of American country music--Nashville,with a rich musical atmosphere. The students of Chinese class in Dyersburg Primary School are between 5 and 8 years old, they are keen on music, have distinct personality, lively and active, have no obvious learning motivation, and have short attention span, the characteristics of being competitive and having a fear of difficulties are matched by the musical quality of children's songs, their simple content, close to life, short length and repetitiveness, and their ability to sing and dance and their rich sense of rhythm, the application of children's songs is suitable for the interesting teaching in the Chinese class of this school.Because of the particularity of the students in Dyersburg Primary School and their Chinese teaching, children's songs with reduplicated words or onomatopoeic words, strong spoken language, substitutable sentence repetition, questions and answers can be selected first in class, however, children's songs with words such as "Jiu" and "Shu",which are listed as sensitive words by the school, are not suitable for Chinese classroom teaching, attach importance to students' emotion and individual difference, children's songs and painting combined with other teaching strategies more targeted, more able to meet the needs of Chinese class students in Dyersburg Primary School.
