With the development and progress of times,education level of women continues to improve,social and family status of women also continues to improve,knowledge-based female employees gradually become a more representative group of modern professional women.In the field of work,they are generally highly educated,having systematic professional knowledge and having a high pursuit of self-value in work.In the field of family,they also need to adapt to the requirements of different identities,undertaking family responsibilities and obligations,and dealing with various interpersonal relationships in the family.Compared with the general female employees,the working environment and family relationship of knowledge-based female employees are more complex,so they will face work-family conflict more intensely,which leads to the research theme of this paper.Based on qualitative research method as the main research method,the writer chooses typical objects in order to conduct a preliminary investigation and a in-depth interview.The 14 respondents are divided into two types of groups,one group of members have strong feelings about work-family conflict,and another group of members handle their work-family conflict well.At the same time,two husbands of the 14 respondents are randomly selected from the two groups for supplementary interviews.The writer researches the causes and process of work-family conflict of knowledge-based female employees from the individuals' different cognition about work and family,aiming to supply some specific work-family balance strategies.The research process and results show that the two groups of respondents have different types of cognition about work and family.The respondents who have strong feelings about work-family conflict hold a segmented view of work and family.So,they usually focus on the opposite aspects of work and family.The respondents who have unobvious feelings about work-family conflict usually treat the work and family as a whole.So,they often pay more attention to the mutual benefits of work and family.They have more specific strategies about emotion management,active adaptation of different status and roles,active and flexible use of favorable conditions in the organizations,active acquisition from family members' support or help and dynamic plan about work and family goals.These specific strategies are beneficial for knowledge-based female employees to relieve or lighten work-family conflict so as to achieve work-family balance.
