Reading is the process of spiritual growth of one person.It is one of the important ways to understand the world and acquire knowledge,and it is also responsible for the inheritance of the human civilization.With the rise of Internet information technology and various emerging digital medium,digital reading has gradually become the normal form of reading.Digital reading brings a lot of convenience to people's study and lives.For example,fast search and multi-sensory enjoyment give readers a fresh reading experience.Besides,readers can easily read anytime and anywhere by using their mobile phones.However,everything has a two-sided nature.There are phenomena that reader indulge in"light reading","entertainment reading" and so on.“What to read" and "how to read" in the digital age is a crucial issue that not only affects the personal growth of readers but also the cultural heritage of the nation.College students are the main force of digital reading,digital reading has brought fresh and vitality to college students' study and lives.Meanwhile,problems caused by digital reading can not be ignored.The level of digital reading literacy of college students needs attention.On the basis of theoretical research,this article investigates the status of digital reading literacy of college students(mainly in Nanjing).At the same time,combing the investigation of the individual factors that influence the digital reading literacy of university students,strategies to improve college students' digital reading literacy for academic libraries are proposed.First of all,this paper studies the theory of digital reading literacy.On the basis of reading literacy,digital literacy,the level of reading ability and the psychological process of reading,the digital reading process and the connotation of digital reading literacy are studied to form a digital reading literacy framework.Based on comparing the connotation and composition of reading literacy and digital literacy,the connotation of digital reading literacy is summarized.The structure of reading ability and the psychological process of reading are analyzed to construct a general process model of digital reading;combining the studies of reading literacy and digital literacy,eventually a complete digital reading literacy framework is formed,including three aspects of digital reading awareness,digital reading ability,and digital reading ethics.Secondly,on the basis of the above theoretical framework,combined with relevant research questionnaires,we designed our own college students' digital reading literacy status questionnaire to study the digital reading level of current college students,and analyzed college students' situation on digital reading sense,ability,and moralities.Then making a difference analysis based on the individual differences of college students such as gender,grade,and major.Thirdly,based on the social learning theory and the humanistic learning theory,a combination of literature research methods was used to construct a model of the individual intrinsic factors of college students' digital reading literacy,including reading motivation,reading self-efficacy,reading cognitive strategies and reading meta-cognitive strategies in these four areas.Through the investigation,the analysis of the impact of factors and digital reading literacy levels was found.Finally,aiming at the current status and existing problems of the digital reading literacy level of college students and the relationship between the individual intrinsic factors affecting the reader and the level of digital reading literacy,this paper proposes specific suggestions for college libraries to improve the digital reading literacy level of college students.Mainly include:inspire self-motivation,cultivate college students,awareness and habits of digital reading;establish confidence in digital reading,enhanee self-efficacy of digital reading;develop digital reading education courses to cultivate college students' reading enthusiasm and reading ability;strengthen digital reading self-management in the process promoting the development of reading metacognition.
