Objectives:Quantitative research to investigate junior middle school students parents psychological control(withdrawn,arbitrary power,of love lead to guilt)effect on the depression,while testing the basic psychological needs in his parents'psychological mediation and regulation,control and depression associated,independent,competent in mediating role between the parents'psychological control and depression,and competent in his parents'psychological control and adjustment of depression.Qualitative research is based on quantitative research to further investigate the satisfaction of depression and basic psychological needs of junior high school students with parental psychological control.To examine the relationship between parents'psychological control,basic psychological needs and depression in junior high school students,and to explore its theoretical and practical significance.Methods:By means of cluster sampling,476 junior high school students were selected as research objects in a middle school in Zhengzhou.Parental psychological control scale,basic psychological needs scale and adolescent depression scale were used to implement strategies and collect effective data.Using SPSS software,descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis,mediating effect test,moderating effect test and other methods were used to process and analyze the data.On the basis of data processing,7 junior high school students with high degree of depression will be interviewed as subjects,and the interview outline is prepared,the interviewees are selected,and the interview results are sorted out and analyzed.Results:(1)There was no significant statistical difference in depression scores between adolescent boys and girls(t=1.06,p>0.05).The only child shows a significant difference(t=2.20,p<0.001),and the depression level of the non-only child was significantly higher than that of the only child.(2)On the score of parental psychological control,gender has significant statistical difference in inducing guilt and power arbitrariness(t=3.94,p<0.001;t=3.01,p<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the withdrawal of love.The psychological control of parents on boys was significantly higher than that on girls.(3)There was a significant positive correlation between parental psychological control and depression(r=0.43,p<0.01).There was a significant negative correlation between parental psychological control and basic psychological needs(r=-0.39,p<0.01).Depression was negatively correlated with basic psychological needs(r=-0.63,p<0.01).(4)The association had a significant negative predictive effect on depression(?=0.15,R~2=0.37,p<0.001).Autonomy had a significant predictive effect on depression(?=-0.24,R~2=0.39,p<0.001).Competency was a significant predictor of depression(?=-0.32,R~2=0.44,p<0.001).(5)Correlation plays an intermediary role between parental psychological control and depression;Autonomy mediates between parental psychological control and depression.Competence mediates between parental psychological control and depression.(6)Association and autonomy have no moderating effect between parental psychological control and depression;Competence plays a negative moderating role between parental psychological control and depression(R~2=0.46,p<0.001)(7)The interview results show that the most common way for parents to exercise psychological control over junior high school students is to give authority to their children,followed by inducing guilt,and the least common way is to withdraw love.Parents'psychological control of junior high school students will affect the satisfaction of their basic psychological needs and lead to their depression.Conclusions:(1)There is no significant difference in depression symptoms between male and female junior high school students.Gender is not a factor affecting depression in junior high school students;There is a significant difference between being the only child and the depression of junior high school students.The degree of depression of non-only children is higher than that of only children,indicating that being the only child is one of the main factors affecting the depression of junior high school students.(2)Triggering guilt,withdrawal of love and arbitrary power all had significant positive predictive effects on depression.(3)Correlation has a significant mediating effect between parental psychological control and depression;The direct mediating effect of autonomy on parental psychological control and depression was significant.Competence plays a significant mediating role between parental psychological control and depression.(4)Association did not play a moderating role in inducing guilt,withdrawal of love,arbitrary power and depression;Autonomy does not mediate between triggering guilt,withdrawal of love,authoritarianism and depression;Competency plays a significant moderating role in triggering guilt,withdrawal of love,authoritarianism and depression in junior high school.(5)The most common way for parents to exert psychological control over junior high school students is to exert authority,and the least common way is to withdraw love.Parents on the psychological control of junior high school students,will have a direct impact on depression.It can also affect the satisfaction of basic psychological needs and lead to depression in junior high school students.
